“Lock Your Doors And Load Your Guns” - How It All Begins -

No, this is not the Zombie Apocalypse. But it might as well be. When people are advised to lock themselves in their homes and keep guns under their bed… it matters less who the enemy is. What`s really frightening is how low we sunk, as nation.

As predicted, social chaos is starting to take over American cities, one by one. As they go bankrupt, citizens` basic needs are simply forgotten and frustration builds up to dangerous levels.

That`s exactly what`s going on in San Bernardino right now, when police cutbacks have downed the number of officers to 1 for every 1,000 people. And earlier this month, a new budget plan was created to tackle the $45.8 million deficit by cutting benefits for firefighters and cops and also firing yet another 80 officers from the force.

“Let’s be honest, we don’t have enough police officers. We have too many criminals living in this city.” said City Attorney Jim Penman, during a city council meeting, urging people to “lock their doors and load their guns”.

This scenario is all doom and gloom, as crime rates peak in San Bernardino, raising by 50% since 2011 and reaching a historic 45 murders this year. Basically, there is no “safe neighborhood” left in this city. Thieves, murderers and junk-heads are rambling through city freely, as there is no room for them in prison. Some of the criminals have been arrested over 50 times, but immediately set free, as cells are already cramped.

More and more American cities are dealing with budget cuts that affect citizen security, due to massive debt. Florida, Georgia, Kansas, Kentucky, Maine, Maryland, Michigan, Missouri, Montana, Oregon, South Carolina and South Dakota have been hit the hardest so far… but there is NO city or town in America that hasn`t been affected by these irresponsible budget cuts.

But in a free country such as the USA, there is always someone there to take advantage of other people`s misery and turn the situation in their favor. For example, ever since Detroit has been on the verge of becoming bankrupt, the state has been blackmailing the city council to make decisions that could affect all of Detroit`s residents.

“If you don’t sign this contract to this person, we’re going to withhold money from you, money that could go to police officers, money that could go to firefighters that you know we desperately need. That is outrageous. That’s blackmail.” (senator Coleman Young for Fox 2 News)

Meanwhile, people in Detroit are living in a Medieval city, where public transportation barely functions, the fire department is almost non-existent, police officers have lost the battle with criminals and almost half of the city’s 88,000 streetlights are not broken.

And if you still have hope that someone will break this corrupted system and turn the table… here`s news that will make you see the BIG picture hidden behind the massive budget cuts.

According to WSWS, in September, the Democratic Bing administration unveiled a plan to eliminate 81 percent of the workforce at the Detroit Water and Sewerage Department over the next five years, including the outsourcing of jobs to low-paid contract. Which means…

They`re selling the country to corporations!

Just think about it. Obama wants to cut our taxes and raise fees for companies… Why on earth would he want to risk losing the “big players” by taking more money from the greedy fat cats? It`s simple: he`s going to help them make more money, to compensate for the raised taxes.

So what if that means millions of Americans will be thrown into poverty, lose their jobs and their homes… and live in a lawless country? Even better! The poorer the people, the easier it is to control them. And right now, the America we`re looking at is a mere instrument passed on from the state to corporations and the other way around.
