Do you walk around in public with your head firmly buried into your smartphone?  It really is amazing to watch people do this, they have absolutely zero situational awareness.  The need to remain connected, to check status updates and reply to emails/texts simply trumps everything!  It’s amazing how conditioned the general public is these days, when you tell someone you don’t have a social media account they look at you like you are an alien from another planet.

Keep your head up and in the game, no need to be hyper-vigilant but just pay attention to the world around you.  You’ll be surprised at what you might have missed…

PJ:  Please take a few minutes to read this article, it’s people like this who have it all wrong.  Notice there is no mention of the victims of these crimes, rather references to how disturbing the photo of the dead terrorist was and how an investigation should be launched questioning the methods law enforcement used.  She also mentions how they turn off the media at home…yes that’s precisely the way to do it, if you pretend the bad man isn’t there he will go away.  Some pass me a tissue, I think I’ll shed a tear for all the sheep in the country.

PJ:  What’s the big deal?  Let 3 dudes stand up with small knives on a plane talking about Hijack, see what happens.  Assuming there wasn’t a FAM on board it wouldn’t be 20 seconds before half the people on the plane descended on them and pounded them into a oblivion.
