Slingshot Recommendation

After my post on Bushcraft slingshots, I decided to find the best store bought one available. I’ve been looking for a good slingshot for years, and finally got serious about my quest.

Slingshots should be considered the perfect hunting tool, you can find ammunition laying on the ground. when it comes to these hunting tools, less is more. I don’t want a bunch of fancy things that can break and leave my without a sling shot.

With the “simple is better” mantra in my mind, I went searching.

After reading a million reviews on a million slingshots I finally settled on the Trumark Slingshot.

Trumark Slingshots are made in the USA (YAY), and have been producing these slingshots since 1952 (over 70 years). Their simple, yet innovative, 1 piece design is functional elegance at it’s best. A single piece of aircraft aluminum gracefully formed into a slingshot. It’s doesn’t fold up for compact storage, but it’s rugged design is much more important to me. I’ve had the wrist braces on other slingshots break off, this one should never do that.

I don’t know if it’s the slingshot or me, but I am able to hit my target every time. I adore this Trumark Slingshot. I’m going to buy a few more and give them as gifts to my prepper buddies! I’m also going to buy some replacement bands for mine. I might even buy some of the heavy pull upgrade bands for it too!
