Prep Updates 05/01/13

Welcome to May!  For all the men out there don’t forget that Mother’s day is on Sunday, May 5th.  Your wife and/or mother would definitely appreciate some flowers on this day although personally I never understood the value of buying something that will be dead in a week.  While my wife is a dedicated prepper, she still enjoys the smell of fresh flowers and would definitely prefer that over a much cooler prepper-ish gift (multi-tool, tomahawk, rocket stove etc).

In other news this site has been live since Sept 1, 2012.  In that time I have published 455 updates and articles, something I never would have imagined doing this time last year.  I certainly hope I have been able to contribute something of value to the community, and I would be remiss without mentioning all of those who have volunteered their knowledge (in the way of guest articles) to the cause.  Thanks much fellow preppers!
