In today’s post we’re going to discuss foraging for edible plants. Foraging is a skill that everyone should be “RE-learning” and practicing. That’s right…RE- learning. This basic skill, mastered by the human race over millions of years, is sadly now all but forgotten. There are a lot of skills like that; skills and knowledge that our ancestors mastered and relied on for everyday basic survival that have been pushed aside and forgotten in the name of convenience and “progress”. Hopefully today, you’ll be inspired to learn a little more about foraging, and to start re-learning one of those lost skills.
Anyone that’s read any of my past posts knows that I’m probably the last person to be giving advice about living in some post-apocalyptic, SHTF type of world.
