Tornado Condition Forecast 140512

The severe thunderstorm front that played havoc yesterday in the plans states, seems to be breaking up today. This means that tornado conditions are also diminishing.

There is a 40% chance of tornadoes in MI (lower peninsula), southeast MN, and central WI.

AR, IA, IN, KS, LA, MO, OH, OK and TX all have less than 30% chance of tornadoes. Please monitor your NOAA radios or USAEBN’s online NOAA radio (click here) as these storms can change very rapidly.

Once our storm chasers come back online, USAEBN Emergency Operations Center will coordinate with them and bring your any information that is reliable  as it happens.

During any type of disaster, relief organizations like the Red Cross and FEMA will not be able to get to you for a few days, so it is up to the individual to prepare for his family during times of crises. The need to educate the public on the basic of Disaster Preparedness is critical. It is not up to the government alone to provide this information, but local communities and business must step up to the plate and help educate the local populace. Our Motto is:
