5 Signs Your Government is Tyrannical

Societies evolve, and with them so do the tactics of would-be dictators.   Government has figured out they no longer have to subject people and destroy liberty through direct edict or law.  Tyrannical rule of this fashion is so medieval.  It is more fun to covertly implement your objectives, to put the frog in the pot and gently boil him.  This carefully orchestrated destruction of your liberties accomplishes the same end as brute force, but does so a bit at a time.  The end result, if all goes according to plan, is an unarmed, poor populace, beholden to the government and pacified by need.

Operation Choke Point- In the financial crisis of 2008-2009 (2014+, actually)  the banks were seemingly given a blank check to bail themselves out.  If you thought for a moment the banks had the upper hand, you were wrong.  The check was signed by Uncle Sam and underwritten on your grand children’s future.  The banks took the bait, hook, line, and sinker.   Unfortunately for us, the strings attached to the puppet banks are now starting to animate.  People have overwhelmingly agreed that gun control does not work. Period.  Successful gun control means one thing, making sure the tyrannical are the only folks with guns.  So what happens when you can’t pass legislation on more gun control?  You make it impossible for gun and ammunition manufacturer’s to do business.  Operation Choke point, as detailed here, lumps all firearms manufacturers into “high risk” categories.  Operation Choke Point is designed to cut off access of so called “high risk” entities to the US banking system.  Unless you were born yesterday, most businesses exist to profit.  Can’t ban guns?  Simply bankrupt gun manufacturers, distributors, and dealers and the problem will take care of itself.

Massive Government Purchases of  Ammunition-  We’ve all read about it, the Department of Homeland Security purchase a few billion rounds of ammunition, various other three letter agencies have purchased in the hundreds of millions of rounds.  There are only two reasons the .gov needs this much ammunition,  either they will be waging a massive war or they want to choke off the civilian supply of ammo.  If they feel they need enough ammunition to fight the equivelent of several Iraq wars on American soil, God help us all.

Arming of Three Letter Agencies that have No Business Being Armed-  Why does the Department of Agriculture, Social Security Administration and the Department of Education need submachine guns?  Complete with evil 30 round magazines?  Is it to again take away capacity to manufacture firearms for civilians, or is it something much sinister?  Our Dear Leader has lusted after a “civilian national security force” since before his first election.  Why?  This one is the easiest to understand.  The “regular military” has taken an oath to uphold and defend the Constitution of the United States from enemies both foreign and domestic.  Nearly all people who are willing to sacrifice their lives for this premise would never take part in action against fellow citizens,but what happens if you could put together a clandestine force of like minded individuals and arm them with MRAP’s and enough firepower to fight several Iraq type wars?  What happens if these folks are goose stepping government union employees?  There is absolutely no peaceful justification for the arming of these three letter agencies, none.   I’ll leave the rest to your imagination.

Dear Regulations.  You always have to look behind the curtain.  Sometimes there is a many armed beast pulling at the levers.  What happens when you kill a quarter million jobs and significantly raise the bills of every American?  You get more government teat suckers.  The more folks pacified by the government dole, the less are left to make noise as the screws are tightened further.  This week’s announcement that the EPA will require power plants to significantly reduce power plant emissions will do just that, KILL a quarter million jobs and significantly raise energy prices for all of us.  For what?  A minuscule reduction in a a gas that you are exhaling right now, you know, the one on which the experts all “agree” (I hear bones breaking as arms are twisted behind backs).  This is just one example of the thousands of pages of regulations that are thrust down from  on-high by un-elected “officials”.  These agencies exist for just one reason, to destroy freedom.

Government Assistance and “Entitlements”- What do you do if you have a segment of the population that is causing trouble for you?  You give them enough rope to hang themselves.  If you think Lyndon Johnson’s “Great Society” was about helping people, I’ve got a billion rounds of ammunition I can sell you at a low price.  In fact, here are two quotes by the former President:

““These Negroes, they’re getting pretty uppity these days and that’s a problem for us since they’ve got something now they never had before, the political pull to back up their uppityness. Now we’ve got to do something about this, we’ve got to give them a little something, just enough to quiet them down, not enough to make a difference. For if we don’t move at all, then their allies will line up against us and there’ll be no way of stopping them, we’ll lose the filibuster and there’ll be no way of putting a brake on all sorts of wild legislation. It’ll be Reconstruction all over again.”

My personal favorite quote from this tenderhearted progressive liberal:

“I’ll have those n*ggers voting Democratic for the next 200 years.”

We’ve seen the rotten maggot infested “fruits” of the “Great Society”; trillions of dollars wasted, the enslavement of a portion of our population for generations, and the destruction of  families and culture in a carefully orchestrated illusion.  The plan was never benevolent, it was always to further enslave people.  To boot, it was designed to trick people into thinking someone cared.  Every time an election rolls around, what do you hear?  “So and so is going to take away your benefits, so vote for me.  I will continue to give you your pittance”.  The problem is, it is spreading like a stage four cancer.  Taking a look at one government program, SNAP, we see an increase of almost 70% in the past six years, outpacing job creation by 10 times!  A look even further back, to the turn of the century, “participation in benefits” has risen a staggering 177%!  It is estimated that 47% of the population is now receiving “entitlements”.  What are the folks who receive these benefits going to do when they are threatened?  They will conform.

According to the beliefs of our founders and penned in our founding documents, government’s sole responsibility is to ensure liberty and protect our enumerated rights.  Nothing about the above five examples is protecting liberty, in fact, it only serves to destroy it.  This facade may appear benevolent on the surface, but carefully re-read the words of Lyndon Johnson again.  Government has become more sophisticated and covert in the last 50 years.
