Using an arrow for survival?

“Aside from obvious hunting, how can you use an arrow/arrowhead for survival?”

• Arrow head could be used for processing game, the right type could be refashioned into a knife. A wooden arrow shaft could be repurposed as a spindle in a bow or hand drill set. Fletchings might become an attractive fish lure. Hmm… All I’ve thought up at the moment.
• You could shoot an adventurer in the knee.
• You could strike down Leonidas in Thermopylae.
• You could play arrow roulette, like on Grown Ups.
• When your comrade is captured by natives, and strung up by a noose for execution, you could shoot the rope at the last second and save his life. He will see you as you do this, and you will both run away as the captors stand in disbelief of the situation.
• You could use them to get a string up into a tree, which can be used to pull a big rope up into a tree, which you can use to lift an anvil into a tree and make a classic Wylie Coyote style anvil trap for road runners.
