Screw You Guys… I’m Building my own Bunker

“History shows the folly in hoping that each new, more destructive weapon will not be used. And yet we dare to hope that this time it will be different. We and the “Soviets” have amassed a combined arsenal of 50,000 nuclear weapons, equivalent in destructive force to some 6,000 World War II’s, capable of reaching their targets in a matter of minutes, and able to destroy every major city in the world.

…All in the belief that they will never be used. – Prof. Martin E. Hellman – Stanford University

Did you know that the U.S. Air Force accidentally dropped two atomic bombs on North Carolina?

The bizarre incident occurred when an American B-52 went into a tailspin during a routine flight along the east coast, causing a pair of 4-megaton hydrogen bombs (Mark 39 nuclear bombs) to dislodge and fall near the town of Goldsboro. A low-voltage safety switch was all that prevented a disaster. Had the devices been triggered, the blast would have been 260 times more powerful than the bomb detonated over Hiroshima.

The pilot in command ordered the crew to eject, which they did. Five men successfully ejected or bailed out of the aircraft and landed safely. Another ejected but did not survive the landing, and two died in the crash.

Controversy continues to surround the event as information newly declassified in 2013 reinforced long-held, public suspicions that one of the bombs came very close to detonating and one has never been found.

To quote a comedian: “Ok… We nearly blown up one of the Carolinas, but that’s basically why we have two”.

Did you know that Russia is spending massive amounts of money to build and test new nuclear weapons systems?

Meanwhile, the Obama administration is doing absolutely nothing to upgrade the U.S. nuclear arsenal. Our nuclear officers are actually still using floppy disks and other computer technology from the 1960s.

The size of the U.S. nuclear arsenal has been reduced by about 95% from the peak of the Cold War, and Barack Obama has spoken of even more dramatic reductions.  Obama is snoozing even as a Russian general speaks of the need to “spell out the conditions under which Russia would launch a preemptive nuclear strike” against the United States.  Obama appears to be entirely convinced that a nuclear war between the U.S. and Russia is not even a remote possibility.  He better be right, because we are definitely not prepared for one.

And Russia is spending money as if a nuclear confrontation with the U.S. is a very real possibility.  In fact, Russian President Vladimir Putin has committed to a “weapons modernization program” that is going to cost the equivalent of 540 billion dollars.

You don’t spend that kind of money just for the fun of it. (Source: thedailysheeple.com)

If Obama is not preoccupied with protecting us… well I’m going to say it one more time: Screw you guys… I’m building my own bunker!

Did you know that terrorists successfully attacked and entered a nuclear silo in Pelindaba?

Many people don’t know that South Africa developed a small nuclear arsenal in the 70’s and 80’s. In 1990 the bombs were dismantled and South Africa became the first nation in the world which voluntarily gave up all nuclear arms. But the highly enriched uranium (HEU) fuel from about a dozen bombs is stored in their Pelindaba nuclear facility, which was successfully attacked and entered by armed terrorists in 2007. Even though it took security almost an hour to arrive and scare them off, fortunately they did not obtain any HEU. Or at least that is what the South African officials are saying. (the Rise in the Middle East)

We may not be as lucky next time. And all it takes is one time. As I was saying: I’m building my own bunker!

Did you know that U.S. LOST 7 Nuclear Weapons that ISIS is trying to get their hands on?

1 – A B-36 bomber en route from Alaska to Texas during a training exercise lost power in three engines and began losing altitude. To lighten the aircraft the crew jettisoned its cargo, a 30-kiloton Mark nuclear bomb, into the Pacific Ocean.

2 and 3 – A B-47 carrying two nuclear weapon cores from MacDill Air Force Base in Florida to an overseas airbase disappeared during a scheduled air-to-air refueling over the Mediterranean Sea. The plane was never heard from again and its wreckage, including the nuclear cores, was never found.

4 – One of the nuclear bombs in the North Carolina incident has never been found. To ensure no one else could recover the weapon, the USAF bought a permanent easement requiring government permission to dig on the land.

5 – An A-4E Skyhawk attack aircraft carrying a hydrogen bomb rolled off the deck of the U.S.S. Ticonderoga and fell into the Pacific Ocean. The plane and weapon sank in 16,000 feet of water and were never found. These revelations caused a political uproar in Japan, which prohibits the United States from bringing nuclear weapons into its territory.

6 and 7 – the U.S.S. Scorpion, a nuclear attack submarine, mysteriously sank about 400 miles to the southwest of the Azores islands. In addition to the tragic loss of all 99 crew members, the Scorpion was carrying two unspecified nuclear weapons.

It sounds outrageous to me that we’ve managed to simply loose some nuclear weapons. Should ISIS find one of this bombs… I’m pretty sure that New York will be turned into a pile of ashes.

We should look now more than ever for these bombs… because they may be used against us. But since nobody seems to care.. I’m building my own bunker.

Did you know that ISIS militants have built a “dirty bomb” with radioactive uranium?

Four months after 40 kilograms of uranium were reported as missing from the Mosul University, several ISIS militants have taken to social media to purport that they have used the missing uranium to build a “dirty bomb,” which is a special improvised explosive device consisting of radioactive nuclear waste and conventional explosives, designed to spread hazardous radioactive material over a wide ranging area.

Considering our porous southern border, getting such a device into the United States would be extremely simple. Then it would just be a matter of selecting the sight and timing to make their attack have the maximum effect.

ISIS currently has access to modern military weapons, including the precursors for chemical weapons. Seeing the cruelty and destruction they have propagated in the lands which they occupy, it is clear that they wouldn’t hesitate to use a nuclear weapon, if they had one to use.

They have already stated their intent to attack the United States. They have bragged about how their flag will fly over the White House. Were such an organization to get their hands on weapons grade nuclear material, you can be sure that they would use it, and do so to great effect.

Is Obama administration going to do something about it? I think that the decision of helping but not really helping our allies is the worst possible way of dealing with it.

Nobody seems to care about this nuclear threat that will eventually come as a BIG “surprise”.

Anyway…

Did You Know that there is an even greater threat than a nuclear explosion for our homeland?

I’m sure that most of you are familiar with this but I’m going to say it one more time.

If a nuclear warhead is detonated hundreds of kilometers above the Earth’s surface it produces a powerful EMP, also known as a high-altitude electromagnetic pulse (HEMP) device.

The HEMP device produces the EMP as its primary damage mechanism. The nuclear device does this by producing gamma rays, which in turn are converted into EMP in the mid-stratosphere over a wide area within line of sight to the detonation.

If one of the nuclear powers blasts a nuclear weapon 275 miles above the US it will basically send us, the Canadian and the Mexicans back to the Dark Ages. Will we be able to fight back in case of a nuclear war?

I don’t think so! Probably most of our ICBM’s will turn into a pile of junk. The communication lines and mobiles will probably become useless. And on top of that, I don’t think that our ballistic missile defense (BMD) system will work at all after such powerful HEMP.

I have something you need to watch. It’s much better than I am at explaining the threat. Watch it and learn exactly what an EMP effects and how you can protect your electronics, car, mobile phones, etc

The Inevitability of Nuclear War or why it is not Stupid to have a Bunker in Your Backyard?

The inevitability concept can best be understood by analogy to finance. It does not make sense to talk of an interest rate as being high or low, for example 50 percent or 1 percent, without comparing it to specific period of time. An interest rate of 50 percent per year is high. An interest rate of 50 percent per century is low. And the low interest rate of 1 percent per year builds up to a much larger interest rate, say 100 percent, when compounded over a sufficiently long time.

In the same way, it does not make sense to talk about the probability of nuclear war being high or low – for example 10 percent versus 1 percent – without comparing it to a specific period of time – for example, 10 percent per decade or 1 percent per year.

Having gotten the units right, we might argue whether the probability of nuclear war per year was high or low. But it would make no real difference. If the probability is 10 percent per year, then we expect the holocaust to come in about 10 years. If it is 1 percent per year, then we expect it in about 100 years.

Our only survival strategy is to continuously reduce the probability, driving it ever closer to zero. In contrast, our current policies are like repeatedly playing Russian roulette with more and more bullets in the chambers.

We have pulled the trigger in this macabre game more often than it is imagined.

Each action on our current path has some chance of triggering the final global war. And if we keep pulling the trigger, the gun will inevitably go off.

The only way to survive Russian roulette is to stop playing.

The only way to survive nuclear roulette is to move beyond war in the same sense that the civilized world has moved beyond human sacrifice and slavery.

But the hilarious paradox is that none of these were abolished without a great war. So I’m thinking that we’ll only go beyond nuclear weapons after the next nuclear war.

Good luck with that. I’m building my own bunker!
