Steve’s Paleo Krunch Review

I have wanted to try Steve’s Paleo krunch for a long time. Many  things are added  to my list of things to try. I eventually get around to them. Recently I was at the Whole Foods in Franking TN and saw they had a whole section of paleo goods. Paleo Krunch was one of the items featured there. I didn’t even think about it I grabbed it. I just got done scarfing it down now let’s review this.

Steve’s Paleo Krunch is the original grainless granola paleo bar. I know many of you are thinking that you can’t have granola without grains. Well, you are wrong. This bar looked just like any other granola bar. Just like them, it is made from nuts and seeds held together with honey. Unlike them, this is actually a health food.

Steve’s Story

Steve’s Paleo Goods,  created by Steve Liberati. Steve has a passion for fitness, nutrition and helping out kids. He began training kids with CrossFit principles to help them build better minds and bodies. This soon grew into  Steve’s club.

“Steve’s Club and its participating members provide a national network of programs through which at-risk or underserved youth of any socioeconomic background can join in the CrossFit Community at a reduced, low or no cost structure.”

Early on he realized these kids needed better nutrition at school so be developed the first steves paleo kits. Paleo Krunch is designed to be safe to toss in a backpack and take to school.

15% of sales go to Steve’s Club to help kids join Crossfit boxes at either a reduced cost or free!

What’s In Paleo Krunch?

What’s in Paleo Krunch? How about only 7 ingredients. Yup, that’s it. The ingredients are Raw Almonds, Shredded Coconut, Raw Sunflower seeds, Raw Pumpkin seeds, Coconut Oil, honey and vanilla extract. No crazy chemicals or toxic junk in there.

The bars are not keto but are very low carb. With the net carbs coming in at 9 grams. There are 13 grams of fat and 7 of protein.

How Does Paleo Krunch Taste?

For me, coconut oil is the main flavor. Not an overpowering coconut flavor, though. Some coconut oils will punch in the face with coconut. This is subdued.

Next was a nut flavor. Not sure which one. It was just a general nutty flavor.

There was a hint of sweetness. Not too bad. I don’t like sweet things very much so it was good. The honey in the paleo Krunch made the other flavors pop. It was there to assist not kill you with sugar.

The bar was moist too. Which you don’t always get with granola. No breaking your teeth on this granola bar.
