College Station, Texas –-(Ammoland.com)- Built for the backcountry hunter in pursuit of their dream trophy, the Endeavor HZ from Horizon Firearms is lightweight and agile – yet rugged – and ready to turn heads with its debut at the 2017 Dallas Safari Club annual Convention.
Built on the all-new 27 ounce KRUX rifle stock from iota Outdoors, with a Sendero profile carbon fiber Proof Research barrel, the Endeavor HZ weighs in at only 6 pounds, 7.7 ounces. The Endeavor HZ will be available in 6.5 Creedmoor, 22 Creedmoor, 6 Creedmoor, 26 Nosler, 7 Rem Mag, and 300 Win Mag.
“There’s always had to be a tradeoff with ultralight rifles – sacrificing repeatability for the sake of weight. But you don’t always have to compromise,” stated founder and president of Horizon Firearms, Derrick Ratliff. “The Endeavor HZ is the best of both worlds using a stock that’s compact and lightweight but with a durable enough structure to accommodate that repeatable barrel and action build. I am personally really excited about adding this rifle to our lineup for 2017.”
The Endeavor HZ also features a Horizon Series Stiller action with spiral bolt fluting, Horizon BDL bottom metal, a threaded muzzle, and a Timney Calvin Elite trigger. MSRP for the Endeavor HZ is $4,999.00.
