Uberti Commemorates Western Legends with A Limited Edition Revolver

ACCOKEEK, Md. -(Ammoland.com)- To commemorate the 100-year anniversary of William Frederick “Buffalo Bill” Cody (1846-1917), Uberti USA is introducing a limited-edition, fully engraved version of the famed Western icon’s 1858 Remington black powder revolver.

Exclusively available for 2017, a maximum of 500 of the 1858 Buffalo Bill Limited Edition revolvers will be produced.

“It never failed me,” Buffalo Bill said of his beloved 1858 revolver.

The original that was the basis for Uberti USA’s replica saw much use throughout Cody’s days as a professional buffalo hunter and Army scout during the Plains Wars of the 1860s and 1870s. The priceless original now resides in a private collection.

Uberti USA’s exclusive edition of this legendary firearm has been lavishly engraved by the atelier of Master Cesare Giovanelli, a renowned name in the world of premium firearms.

The engraving is hand-chased, making each revolver unique; the floral design comes from an original 19th century pattern and covers the entire metal surface of the revolver – from the hammer to the backstrap and trigger guard, from the cylinder to the barrel and loading lever.

Uberti USA’s 1858 Buffalo Bill Limited Edition is chambered in the original .44 caliber cap-and-ball round and features a deep blue finish, color-case hammer, brass trigger guard and textured, simulated ivory grips.

As a final touch, both sides of the octagonal barrel bear gold inscriptions, with the years of Buffalo Bill’s birth and death on one side and, on the other, the name of this legendary figure of the American West.

Designed specifically for collectors who prize unique, commemorative firearms, Uberti USA’s 1858 Buffalo Bill Limited Edition has an MSRP of $1,049. As with all Uberti USA firearms, it carries a five-year warranty.
