Would be nice to have a photo of chickweed.
aka Stellaria. It is usually found in damp shade, like under peoples’ swamp coolers, at the edges of stream beds, or that mossier side of your fenceline. Grows during temperate Winters and Springs — the dewy times of year — but not in late Summer, imo.
Use lots of references, because subspecies and growing conditions result in slight variations.
