Some Good News!

Since we are officially in the 2012 election season and this could be our last decent Christmas for a while, economically speaking, I went looking for any tidbit of good news to hang my hat on. Since the media is full of doom, gloom, lies and rhetoric, I turned to one of my sources of inspiration, The Tea Party.

Browsing Tea Party web sites reminds me I am not alone. I know we surround them. I know I have millions of Patriot brothers and sisters across the fruited plains. I know we have pledged to each other our lives, our fortunes and our sacred honor. I know that were it not for the Tea Party, Washington would already have total control of our lives but we have stopped them. We have shed the cleansing light of truth upon their lies and their hatred and their evil.

We have stood, shoulder to shoulder against the rising tide of Social Justice and said “Hell No”. Our voices may be different. Our lives and reasons may be different. Our color and our God may be different. But we are one in our belief in a free and Constitutional America. We have won so much but there is much left to do.

It is logical to think that our chances for a Conservative victory are pretty good and I think they are. But It is very hard for me to quite that still small voice within that keeps saying “Four More Years”. It scares me to think what the far-left will do to our Republic with four more years. To date, the Obama Administration has a clear track record of Socializing America and there is no reason to suspect that a win in November will only embolden them. The 1st and 2nd Amendments will be high on their list if they win. They must be stopped or our beloved Republic could split once again with all the nastiness the previous split gave us not so long ago.

Now, here is the tidbit of good news. A quick visit to the http://www.theteaparty.net/locate-a-tea-party-group, showed me just how many we are. Two-thousand, nine-hundred and seventy-two Tea Party Groups spread over the fifty states. That 2,762 separate groups all with largely the same goal. Yea, baby, we surround them!

As we celebrate the holidays I would ask everyone to do just a few things.

1. Contact a Tea Party in another state. Contact info is on Tea Party dot Net. Send them a message of strength and unity and hope. Networking is critical.
2. Find someone you would normally avoid and offer help. Whether it is a warm meal or an old sweater or a ride. Give now more than ever.
3. Call someone you have not spoken to in a long time. Recruit where you can. Support them if they are already in a Tea Party Group.
4. Take time for the holidays. Smile and laugh and love and eat and recharge. We need to rest for the challenges ahead.

Strengthen your resolve my brothers and sisters for our greatest days are ahead of us.
