Agenda 21 “As patriots try to define it, the U.N. continues to change it”
One of the things that make Agenda 21 problematic is that it keeps changing. Another problem is that many government officials sign agreements that look benign on the surface or even beneficial to their citizens without realizing that they have just unleashed rules and regulations that will put their rights in jeopardy . Agenda 21 has tentacles that reach out and grab our rights. When one tentacle is severed it only brings temporary relief because another one is usually on the horizon.
Is it hopeless? The answer is no as long as each one of us pays attention to what is going on in our local, state, and Federal governments.
Most of us know the name of our members of Congress and our Governor, but that isn’t enough. If you don’t already know who your state Senator and Assemblypersons are you need to find out. That’s still not good enough though. Do you know who your Freeholders are and where they hold meetings? We may not always be able to easily change the makeup of the Congress, but we can certainly change our local officials if they don’t represent our best interests. Start attending township and Freeholders’ meetings. Get to know your officials. Get involved. If you see something that you think will put you or your property at risk ask questions and speak out.
What does this have to do with Agenda 21? Agenda 21 can only be stopped by informed citizens. Educate yourself, educate your neighbors, and make sure that the people who represent you are really listening to your concerns.
