All the Real Women are Conservatives

Word on the street is that the DNC’s convention theme this year is going to be a focus on the Republican “War on Women.”  If you’re fuzzy on the origins of this make-believe war, it’s the one that kicked off when Democrat activist George Stephanopoulos–masquerading as a journalist at a GOP debate in January–abused his position as moderator to create the notion that the Republican presidential candidates sought to outlaw female contraceptives.  Birth control hadn’t even come up in any political conversations anywhere in the western hemisphere for decades before this, but the media and the Democrats took the ball and ran with it, and a few weeks later we had thirty-something college coed Sandra Fluke testifying on Capitol Hill about her need for a government grant to finance her sexual activity, and the “war” had officially begun.

As a quick disclaimer, the author of this piece is not and never has been a woman, which liberals would say disqualifies me from commenting on them.  However, I have had a lifetime of experience in dealing with women and observing them closely, which hopefully counts for something.  Anyway, if Bill Clinton could win over a nation of soccer moms with the simple claim, “I feel your pain”–and his reported post-rape advice to Juanita Broaddrick, “You better put some ice on that, you’re bleeding at the lip”–then even I may yet have some worthwhile analysis on the topic.

It’s no secret there is a gender gap between the parties, with women typically trending toward the Democrats, and this election is no different.  Liberals always try to capitalize on this by asserting they are the party which favors women, just as they erroneously claim to champion the poor and minorities, even as they are led by the likes of the gold-digging John Kerry and the late “Exalted Cyclops” of the Ku Klux Klan, Robert Byrd.  When it comes to women, Democrats believe the key to winning their votes is to champion their “reproductive rights,” which is code for abortions.  As such, the liberals will do anything they can to increase the rate of abortion, and label any attempt at the preservation of unborn life as “anti-woman.”

Where the Democrats fall short in this line of thinking is that women are not a voting bloc ruled entirely by their ovaries and unconcerned with everything else.  Young and single women tend to fall more heavily into the liberal trap, but women who are married and have children–or as the feminists would say, “have betrayed the sisterhood”–and women who have matured emotionally are more able to avoid the monolithic group-thinking the Democrats rely on.  Similar to conservative minorities, these independent, free-thinking women represent a true threat to the Democrat Party in their tendency to resist liberal manipulations, and so liberals will stop at nothing to destroy them.

In today’s modern world, women can become practically anything they put their minds to.  Among other massive achievements, there are women leading countries and running major international corporations.  Women have their hands in everything from politics to the professional sports industry, and every other endeavor which used to be considered “a man’s world.”  Why, then, in 2012, does the Democrat Party think the only issues women are concerned about are contraception and abortion?  Why are liberals entirely unable to look at women without first and foremost focusing on pregnancy-related issues?

When one looks at the Tea Party, and the conservative movement in general, a person would have to be both blind and deaf not to notice the massive influence of women.  The Tea Party was largely formed out of the inspiration of Sarah Palin, who created a rallying point for conservatives in the grim environment of Socialist Barack Obama and RINO John McCain.  Michele Bachmann was an early Tea Party activist and longtime favorite in the presidential primary process.  Many of the Tea Party’s conservative challengers to establishment Republicans have likewise been women taking on tough primary and general election opponents, and often winning.  Many of these women, like South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley, were endorsed in their primaries by Mitt Romney and in turn were quick to endorse him.

What is more, these female champions of conservatism are strong women.  Palin, Bachmann, Haley, and countless others were successful in the business world and other circles before ever entertaining any thoughts of politics.  In many cases, they are committed proponents of the Second Amendment and avid hunters, like Palin herself, both tough and competent when shooting rifles in the wilderness, and yet dazzling in a dress and high heels.  Among their supporters who themselves are not active in seeking office, there are many holding their families together while their husbands serve in the armed forces.  Some, like Ann Romney, battle a quiet war against diseases like breast cancer or multiple sclerosis in isolation, but remain steadying factors in the lives of their loved ones.

What’s more, these women prove false the old feminist belief that a woman must choose between a career and a family, and that she cannot have both.  Liberal women have always complained their station in life is unfair because they must choose between starting a family and carrying on a career.  They use this to excuse aborting an unanticipated pregnancy, because they see it as a choice of their own life versus that of the baby; one must effectively end so that the other might carry on, because no woman could possibly manage to balance both.  And yet, conservative women somehow manage to do just that, as demonstrated again by Sarah Palin campaigning for the vice presidency with a special-needs child in her arms.

Democrats lay claim as the party of the strong feminist warriors, but that entire premise is a lie.  Liberal feminists are the women who couldn’t quite make it on their own, and the girls who never quite learned to grow up and take any responsibility.  Their Hollywood actresses play tough, conservative-types on the screen, but that’s the closest they ever come to the real thing.  Most are like Hillary Clinton, hitching their wagons to male cohorts like her husband.  Michelle Obama has long championed affirmative-action programs in college hiring and recruitment, which is a likely indicator of how she got where she is.

When liberal women do achieve prominence in their career without the bolstering of a male surrogate or other sponsor, it is often by sacrificing their feminine sides and adapting androgynous identities in the styles of Janet Reno and Elena Kagan, and even then they are still pretty bad at their jobs.

The last girl to pave her own way in the Democrat Party while also maintaining a feminine side was probably John Edwards, and look how that turned out.

Liberal women hate conservative women because conservative women expose the lies of the feminist political agenda.  When conservative women overshadow their liberal counterparts, they reveal that the claims and accusations of the feminists are excuses for their own shortcomings.  The feminists cover this jealousy with cruel accusations at the expense of their rivals, but deep down they know that they do not measure up.  Hillary Clinton doesn’t want to be compared to Sarah Palin, not because of any supposed offense at being likened to what the Democrats claim is a backwoods hillbilly, but because Palin exposes the fraud which is Hillary Clinton.

Likewise, liberal men hate conservative women because conservative women make them feel inadequate about themselves.  The feminization of the Democrat Party has been so effective that they have virtually no real men left, and certainly not in positions of prominence.  The feminist movement has so confused the gender identity of the left that their men no longer know how to be men.  Maureen Dowd lives in a cloistered liberal bubble and rails against men on a weekly basis, primarily because she has never met a real one.  Bill Maher is famous for using derogatory and highly offensive language to describe women whose political views run counter to his own, covering for his own lack of testicular fortitude.  Sarah Palin could out-shoot, out-hunt, and out-fight Maher both in the wilderness of Alaska and in the political arena of Washington, all while wearing a dress, and Maher recognizes this and resents it.

Speaking of noted misogynist Bill Maher–who incidentally made a public spectacle of donating one-million dollars toward Barack Obama’s reelection effort–we now know that the keynote speaker at the DCN convention will be former president and lifelong sexual predator Bill Clinton.  Clinton’s defining moment was his affair with then-twenty-two-year-old intern Monica Lewinsky while he was the much older sitting President of the United States, but Clinton already had a long and publicized history of abusive behavior even before that.  In fact, Bill Clinton has accumulated allegations of harassment, assault, and even rape which would make most career sex offenders blush, and notably settled out of court on at least one occasion, while abusing the power of his political office at other times to intimidate witnesses into silence.  This is the man the Democrats feel would best represent them in setting the theme of their convention, the supposed “Republican War on Women.”

But even Bill Clinton is not the most ridiculous poster child for the mythical “War on Women.”  No, that honor goes to Sandra Fluke, the longtime Democrat Party activist and occasional college student who helped get the ball rolling on the whole theme.  While the Democrats hold Fluke up as some sort of victimized champion of women’s rights, it’s important to remember this is a woman who achieved notoriety by speaking before the country about the massive bills she had accumulated through her sexual practices–bills which seemed more problematic for her than her education and housing payments–and insisting that the American taxpayers be the ones to fund her contraceptives.  As audacious and crass as this might seem to conservatives and most Americans paying attention, she is the new hero of the Democrat Party and what they consider to be a modern champion of feminism.

Contrast Sandra Fluke with rising GOP star and mayor of Saratoga Springs, Mia Love.  The daughter of two Haitian immigrants, Love is a self-made story of success who personifies the modern conservative woman and the American dream.  While Sandra Fluke is a thirty-plus college student demanding the American public pays the bill for her birth control so she can continue to enjoy consequence-free sex, Mia Love is a thirty-something married mother of three whose accomplished career currently has her leading a city vastly improved through her efforts.  Also in contrast to Fluke’s stark whiteness, Love is a minority, making her a double-threat to the liberal movement, and having led to a defacing of her Wikipedia page by liberal activists lashing out at her with racial slurs.

Feminism on the left has devolved into a mentality of party girls seeking to avoid personal responsibility, refusing to grow up, and breaking down into hysterical fits when they don’t get their way.  Meanwhile, conservative women are making their own way, leading their party, reinforcing an ideology, and forging their own careers, often while bringing up their children at the very same time, and without complaining about it.  Conservative women don’t sit around bemoaning their lot in life, using their gender as a crutch, and demanding others give to them to make their lives easier; conservative women take responsibility, accept hardship as it comes, and deal with the obstacles life sets before them as necessary.

The modern conservative woman is the strong embodiment of everything traditional feminism has claimed to be, and everything the liberal plantation prevents it from becoming.  Whether serving on the front lines in public office, or serving in silence while raising and educating their children, they are the backbone of the Tea Party, the future of the Republican Party, and a crucial element of the conservative ideology.

They also–either due to a side effect of their sunnier dispositions, or just by happy coincidence–tend to be much prettier than most liberals.
