Scary stuff is ahead folks as this week the Senate is preparing to vote on the U(seless) N(ations) Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (CRPD) Treaty, a treaty that would make The Patriot Act appear as a walk in the park concerning our personal liberties and freedoms.
While the name of this treaty sounds honorable it is anything but. CRPD has absolutely NOTHING to do with protecting the rights of those with disabilities and has everything to do with giving the U(seless) N(ations) control of our lives. And of course it’s sanctioned by Barack HUSSEIN Obama and our ever-loving Hillary Clinton.
Hiding behind yet another cleverly crafted name of trying to protect the rights of the disabled, what people fail to realize is that the rights of Americans with disabilities are already protected under our own federal laws, isuch as the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 (ADA), the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 (Section 504), the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act of 1990, and the Fair Housing Act as amended in 1988.
And any changes, amendments, or clarifications of such protections can be gotten through our own legislative process without any help from the U(seless) N(ations)…thank you very much.
Point blank…this treaty would subject our country to threats against our sovereignty and allow U(seless) N(ations) officials to tell us what our social and domestic policies will be. So, if the Senate votes to ratify the CRPD they are knowingly, willingly, and with malice threatening our country’s sovereignty and integrity in a number of ways.
First and foremost, this treaty would allow our our individual civil liberties and rights to be no longer dictated by our Constitution, but by an unelected panel of a dozen U(seless) N(ations) representatives who hate ‘We the People’ but who love our traitor-in-chief.
Second, if the Senate ratifies this abomination U.S. policies would be contingent on the oversight and recommendations of the CRPD committee, which will then issue unlimited demands that the U.S. would be expected to put in place. This alone should send up major red flags to the parents and caregivers of disabled Americans, whose personal decision making authority for their own family member would now be subjected to the decrees of U(seless) N(ations) so-called ‘experts.’ And lets NOT forget that their personal parental rights would be threatened by the CRPD’s language concerning the ‘best interests of the child’ for there is NO clearly expressed protection of parental rights anywhere in the treaty.
Third, and this is major, there is NO clear definition of disability anywhere in the treaty. The CRPC claims the wording to be an ‘evolving concept’ as treaty proponents believe there are many kinds of disabilities…social disabilities, economic disabilities, racial disabilities, gender disabilities…failing to mention physical disabilities and mental disabilities, the basis of how we define a disability under our Disability Acts.
Fourth, and this one is outright scary, the CRPD touches upon the definitions of ‘reproductive health’ and ‘reproductive rights’ as they relate to abortion rights. In other words if ratified, the U(seless) N(ations) would be dictating our US abortion policy to us…religious beliefs be damned. In fact, this treaty would have the potential to allow sterilization and/or abortion for the disabled. The wording, found in Article 25, requires, “free or affordable health care including the area of sexual and reproductive health and population-based health programs.” Mandatory population control come to life as the U(seless) N(ations) could force America to sanction sterilization and/or abortion for the disabled at taxpayer expense.
Nice, huh?
And here’s an interesting side note…Senator Marco Rubio tried to neutralize the horror of Article 25 during discussions about the treaty when it was debated in the Senate Foreign Relations Committee. However, Rubio’s proposed amendment, which would have stopped the treaty from forcing abortion policy on countries that sign, was foiled by none other than Mr. Swift Boat, Secretary of Defense wannabe, Senator John Kerry.
Such lovely people (insert sarcasm here) these liberals are wanting to do such damage to the most helpless amongst us.
Now the question remains as the vote draws near, how can our Senate vote on something that is first just evolving but NOT set, and second, vote on something that goes against against the basic law of our land…our Constitution, and against the very people the treaty claims it’s trying to protect…the most vulnerable amongst us…the disabled.
I guess in Obamaland anything is possible as our nation’s nightmare continues.
