Kamey Jo’s Journey – A Request for Help and Prayers

Dear Friends:

I am writing to ask you to please support me as I Walk the Pittsburgh Marathon on May 5^th for Kamey Jo so that one day she may be able to sit… stand… or even walk by herself!  My sisters (Sue and Janet) and I are going to walk the Pittsburgh Marathon in honor of my precious granddaughter, Kamey Jo, who was born with a traumatic brain injury that resulted in severe cerebral palsy.  She would love to be able to sit, stand, walk and play like all the other children her age. 

In order to give her the best possible chance to do so, she will need to undergo many, many hours of specialized physical therapy utilizing the Therasuit Method at The Therapy Place and summer camp at Pattison’s Academy.   Unfortunately, this is not covered by insurance and costs $4500.00 per 3-week session plus travel expenses.

Would you also join me on May 5^th in prayer for God’s healing power on Kamey Jo?  Every step of my 26.2 mile marathon I dedicate in prayer to Kamey Jo, so that one day she may walk a mile in her own shoes!
