The Nashville Preppers and Survivalist Expo

There’s nothing more American than being self reliant, self educated, and being ready to face any doomsday scenario head on. If you attended the Nashville Survivalist and Preppers Expo, then I virtually salute you.

Instead of wasting your weekend watching mindless sports teams you made an effort to network and learn from other Survivalists and Preppers.
The beautiful thing about the Prepper Community and the Nashville Survivalist Expo is that it was as diverse and robust as the thriving Liberty Movement. There were tables and vendors with handouts on EMP attacks, building natural winter shelters, and using essential oils as emergency medicine. A wide array of knives, mre’s, and assorted prepper gear were available for purchase as well.

I scored an armful of free educational material, a killer tactical backpack, a lifestraw, and a gigantic book entitled Storey’s Basic Country Skills, a Practical Guide to Self-Reliance by John and Martha Storey. 

The Mainstream Media derives a sick pleasure from portraying the Survival Community as extremists or nutcases. I found the exact opposite. I spoke with other human beings who valued and commended self determination. I saw young and old, black, white, and asian. Some may call us fear mongers but I say we are realists. The people I shook hands with, participated in voluntary business transactions with, and shared knowledge on various subjects are the living foundation that will help rebuild an America free of coercion and government force.
It is my humble opinion that we are still in the early stages of an Information Revolution. Americans are plagued by a criminal government, endless wars, and the erosion of our natural rights. Times may seem grim, but we’re gonna win.
