Video: Krauthammer On Obama Being ‘Unaware’ Of Benghazi Whistleblowers: ‘Color Me Skeptical’

Obama’s press conference earlier today provided a wealth of material for the Special Report Panel to chew on, tonight. Obama’s obfuscations on Syria, America’s damaged credibility, and of course Benghazi.

Starting at around 4:20, the discussion on Benghazi began.

“He hadn’t heard about it?” Krauthammer asked incredulously. “Nobody at the White House had heard about it? Nobody at the White House has access to Fox News? This is slightly incredible and it’s a rather weak response from the president. He knew that he would be calling on Ed Henry  as the first question because of his role in the White House Correspondents Association. He knew the Fox or at least his staff knew that Fox had broken the story, put a lot of effort into the story, and time on the story last night, and he pretends he’s never heard of it? Color me skeptical.”

Kirsten thought that it was very possible that Obama didn’t know because the White House doesn’t take the story seriously, and “this is a White House that has a pretty storied history of intimidating whistleblowers and prosecuting whistleblowers”, so it’s not something they want the president to be able to talk about. She said she was looking forward to hearing what the whistleblowers had to say.

Steven Hayes focused on the same thing I did at Breitbart, today, and that is Obama’s (oft repeated) vow to bring the perpetrators to justice.

“Where are we on that question?” he asked…..”It’s been nearly eight months!”

“How long is the president going to be able to say, ‘I’m determined to track them down and bring them to justice’,when people actually take that seriously. It’s been eight months – come -on!”

Krauthammer said that as long as the ObamaMedia outside of this network ignores Benghazi, it will not be an “explosive” story.

Pravda during the Stalin era was probably a more reliable and less biased news source than the American MSM, today.

SO: We basically don’t want to upset anybody. And the problem is if Ambassador Stevens’ family knew that we were sitting on information about the people who killed their son, their brother, and we could look them as a government in the face, then we are messing up.

We’re messing up.
