Stay away From the Syrian Conflict

% of readers think this story is Fact. Add your two cents.

Let’s get the Syrian conflict or Civil War into perspective.

Syria is governed by General Hafez al-Assad, the Minister, seized power in a “corrective revolution” in November 1970, becoming prime minister. In March 1971, Assad declared himself President, a position he would hold until his death in 2000. Since then, the secular Syrian Regional Branch has remained the dominant political authority in a virtual single-party state in Syria, and Syrian citizens may only approve the President by referendum and – until the government-controlled multi-party 2012 parliamentary election – could not vote in multi-party elections for the legislature. The key party document Some Theoretical Propositions states that “Socialism is the true goal of Arab unity… Arab unity is the obligatory basis for constructing a socialist society.”

President Bashar al-Assad accepted the entire cabinet’s resignation after a meeting on 29 March 2011. Al-Assad then appointed outgoing Prime Minister Muhammad Naji al-Otari to continue as caretaker prime minister until a new government is appointed. On 3 April 2011, Assad appointed Minister of Agriculture Adel the new Prime Minister. On 6 April 2012, the state-run al-Ekhbaria TV channel said that Foreign Minister Walid al-Moallem, Minister of Defence Daoud Raja, Minister of Endowment and Religious Affairs Mohammed Abdul-Sattar Al Sayed, and Minister of Presidential Palace Affairs Mansour Fadlallah Azzam would remain in the new cabinet. On 9 April 2012, Day Press News reported the new cabinet was expected to be announced in the next week. On 14 April 2012, a new cabinet was officially announced.

On 9 February 2013, President Assad changed seven ministers in the cabinet. The cabinet reshuffle included the ministries of oil, finance, social affairs, labour, housing, public works and agriculture. In reality we have a Islamic Civil war, why would we be idiotic enough to send our brave troops, aren’t we sick of fighting their wars for them?  The Socialists are Islamic, the Military are Islamic, the guerrillas are Islamic,  even the he majority of Kurds today are Muslim, belonging to the Shafi school of Sunni Islam.

Summary of the 7 May 2012 People’s Council of Syria election results

  • Arab Socialist Ba’ath Party (Hizb al-ba’th al-’arabi al-ishtiraki) 134 seats
  • Socialist Unionists (al-wahdawiyyun al-ishtirakiyyun) 18 seats
  • Communist Party of Syria (al-Hizb ash-shuyu’i as-suri, Wissal Farha Bakdash faction) 8 seats
  • Communist Party of Syria (Yusuf Faisal faction) 3 seats
  • National Vow Movement (Harakat al-’ahd al-waTani) 3 seats
  • Arab Socialist Union (al-ittiHad al-ishtiraki al-’arabi) 2 seats
  • Syrian Social Nationalist Party (al-Hizb as-suri al-qawmi al-ijtima’i) 4 seats
  • People’s Will Party 1 seat
  • non-partisans 77 seats

Total 250 seats Source: Syrian parliament

Limited political support has also been provided by France, Britain and US.
The major Syrian Kurdish opposition group, the PYD, was reported to get logistic and training support from Iraqi Kurdistan. Islamist militants in Syria were reported to receive support from private funders, mainly in the Persian Gulf area, as well as from Al-Qaeda in Iraq.

Syrian Government major supporting parties are Iran and Hezbollah, both involved in the war politically, logistically and providing military equipment, training and in case of Hezbollah also significant battle troops. A number of covert strikes against Hezbollah and Iranian targets within Syrian territory during 2013 were attributed to Israel. Syrian government also receives arms and political support from Russia. Some support for Syrian Baathist government was received from North Korea, Venezuela, China and Huthis of Yemen.

They have Communists, Socialists, Socialist Islamics, then the full range of Islamic factions, including the Hezbollah extremists’ military support.  http://atlasshrugs2000.typepad.com/atlas_shrugs/2013/06/thousands-of-muslims-in-egypt-rally-for-syria-jihad-there-is-no-god-but-allah-blah-blah-blah.html

This is not a war we should be involved with and we must draw a line at helping Muslim fight Muslim, and Communist fight Socialists fighting Muslims fighting Muslims, fighting Communists and so on.

I had strong doubts about the alleged Chemical warfare attack, as the bodies were too clean, too neatly laid down, no signs of the usual loss of body functions or grimaced expressions and no sign of discolouration of the skin.  It was all far too neat to be convincing, so much so that even the UN is struggling to believe it.

One thing about Syria is it shows how Socialism has linked in with ISLAM and answers a few questions about how we would allow and make it easy for increased numbers to come to Australia, and bend over backwards to allow them to convert their suburbs into a part of the Islamic Nation.

This ALP Socialist Government that are forcing us to embrace Communist Nations, and fight for Islamic causes must go on 7 September 2013, they have abused their positions of trust too many times, and we must ensure they don’t get a chance to reduce our Defence Forces and our way of Life, even more.
