Pat Caddell at CPAC. THIS was the best speech of the weekend.

I … along with lots of other bloggers from what I’ve read … are waiting for someone to make available the video of former Democrat pollster Pat Caddell’s speech yesterday in a panel at CPAC.

To me, for pure plain talking “this is how you win GOP, this is how you win CONGRESS, this is how you win activists” … it was the best, most helpful, most practical speech of the weekend.

Now, it wasn’t that much different than his appearance last year, but it was updated, more urgent and contained action items for recent events.

The one thing that resonated the most with me was his brutal excoriation of EVERY SINGLE HOUSE MEMBER who claims they want a Benghazi investigation, who have signed the letter to Boehner stating they want an investigation, but have not followed through … and I’m recalling from memory until the video emerges:

“For all those House members who claim to want an investigation into the deaths of four Americans, while Obama slept and while those lying talking points were being crafted, if you were to march the leadership … John Boehner, Eric Cantor, Cathy McMorris Rogers, and Kevin McCarthy into a room, close the door and tell them ‘Investigate today, or tomorrow we will vote you out of leadership’ … it would be done. But there is not the will in Washington, even among those House members, to make this happen.”

I agree. 1000%. This should happen on MANY issues, but Benghazi is at the top.
