The News-Press has been graffitied, threatened, vilified, picketed and protested, for stating the truth in print.
THIS IS ADVISABLE . . . and for YOUR INFORMATION . . .
1. All signage and commentary to the media SHOULD BE about FREEDOM of SPEECH and of the PRESS. Let people and the media that covers the event put the lines between the dots . . . that way they will feel like geniuses and rather feeling nagged to a given conclusion, those observing (or reading it in the news) will come to their own conclusion that the Reconquista, open borders, illegal alien, cheap labor lobby wants to SILENCE their opposition and INTIMIDATE the PRESS. Make signs about FREEDOM of SPEECH and of the PRESS.
2. The EDITOR of the Santa Barbara News-Press is SUPPORTIVE of our RALLY (said so) and Welcomes us there (said so).
3. The BBC Radio will be there to cover the event. Remember, the BBC is EUROPEAN, so they want to report it from the point of view of INTIMIDATION OF THE PRESS in France . . . since the story started with the murders at Charlie Hebdo. Other media may be there.
4. PARKING: Public Parking is available (recommended because parking is tight in Santa Barbara) on Anacapa Street one block SOUTH of the newspaper building.
5. RALLY ADDRESS: 744 A De La Guerra Pl, Santa Barbara (we will take a “PROTECTIVE POSITION”
on the sidewalk the the newspaper entrance . . . symbolically guarding the entrance to the newspaper on sidewalk
immediately at the front of the building.
We will let the FREEDOM of SPEECH INTIMIDATORS take positions across the street (the OFFENSIVE POSITION).
