A Time to Choose: 2016

Every four years, the race for President begins earlier and earlier.  The official start is Labor Day.  The reality is the race for the Republican nomination for President is already under way.

2016 really is the most important election we will see as a nation.  It is a make or break election for the future of this country.  On the left, the Democrats are running a series of radical candidates.  There is Hilary Clinton and although she claims she is not running, there is Elizabeth Warren who is further to the left than Barack Obama.

On the Republican side, the field is flooded with moderates and those who want to be President, simply because they want to be President.  There are some conservatives in the race. There is one conservative who deserves our support. There is one conservative in the race who has the potential to be a President of the caliber of Ronald Reagan.

This year, it is crucial that we have a great conservative candidate.  We need someone who has the courage of their beliefs.  We need someone who is quite frankly brilliant and who is willing to fight.

If we lose this time, it could be the end of America.  We need someone who will stand and reverse not only the damage done by the Obama Regime but also to stand against the moderate wing of the GOP.

There are a couple of names who are floated out as conservative candidates.  Scott Walker is one, though he has backed away from some of his conservative principles in recent weeks.  Presumably he is trying to move towards the center for a run.  There is Bobby Jindal who is a really great guy.  A former Congressman and a governor, he has a lot of experience.  But he is not the man.

Conservatives must avoid the fiasco of 2012 where we had a number of good conservative candidates who divided the conservative base and allowed Mitt Romney to win.  We must unite now around a conservative candidate who can defeat the Establishment in the primary and then defeat which ever radical the Democrats nominate.

Who is this candidate?

The only candidate who can do that is Ted Cruz.

Cruz is simply off the charts brilliant.  He is a fighter.  He is a winner.

In 2012, when he decided to run for the United States Senate, he took on Lieutenant Governor David Dewhurst.  Dewhurst was the anointed candidate of the Establishment.

No one gave Cruz a chance.

Today Cruz is a United States Senator and Dewhurst is out of office.

Benjamin Franklin said during the Revolutionary War, “Either we all hang together or surely we will hang separately.”  Either we unite or we see Jeb Bush or Elizabeth Warren take the oath of office in 2017.  If we do not unite, by the time we have a chance to try and elect a conservative President again, it will be too late.

The conservative movement must unite behind a single candidate and we must do this now.

Tea Party Nation (and I individually) endorse Ted Cruz to be the 45th President of the United States.

Let’s all work together and make this happen!
