A PREDICTION on the UK ELECTION!

I was pleased to get a comment on the British General Election and anonymous says this:

Sandy – what are your predictions?

I’m going:

Conservatives 280
Labour: 270
SNP: 45
Liberal Democrats: 30
UKIP: 5

Note no treat to dinner!  But it is a great prediction – certainly within the margin of error so to speak of these from ConservativeHome:

Also the Daily Mail (watch for the pretty girls and stick to politics!) has this hour by hour expectation for election night (partial returns are not given out but the reports on the count are staggered throughout the nation) and it is impressive.

So for my readers in the UK today:  Vote and vote for UKIP!  Sing Jerusalem and take another UKIP voter today to the polls.  Better yet find a non-voter and get them to vote UKIP.  I will have a tie with purple in it at the NDP today at the Polegreen church!

PS:  My prediction:  I think the Tories and UKIP will do better than expected but will it turn into more seats?  I will say (rough estimate):

Tories 300

Labour 240

SNP 45-50

UKIP 25

LibDems 15

DUP 8

Other parties the rest.

One more thing:  There are local elections today and I read somewhere in last day or two that UKIP could win 300-400 local councillor seats today.  That is a victory, too.  Local officials are the source for future MPs – with a record of accomplishment.
