CALL AND FAX YOUR ASSEMBLYMAN AND STATE SENATOR!!!

CALL YOUR STATE ASSEMBLY AND STATE SENATE MEMBERS and tell them to VOTE NO ON “SB-347 Firearms: prohibited persons” which adds a long list of misdemeanors to an already long list of misdemeanors which would result in the loss of your being able to even possess a firearm for ten years.

For something as innocent as a conviction for forgetting to lock your handgun case while passing within 1,000 feet of a K-12 public or private school would result in a ten year prohibition on your right to even possess a firearm in your home.

The bill is likely to be voted on in the Assembly on Tuesday and if it passes there, it will be voted on by the Senate on Tuesday or Wednesday.  Thursday is the last day of the legislative session.  If we can delay final passage until midnight Thursday then the bill is dead for this year.
