Matt Schlapp: FBI Director Comey is a DEMOCRAT

Photo by Girard At Large I was watching the coverage of the FBI reopening the case of Hillary Clinton’s private email server on MSNBC – just to keep tabs on what the other media was saying – and they had Matt Schlapp, the Chairman of the American Conservative Union, the folks that are famous for CPAC, and a couple of Democrats. The Democrat was talking and speculated that FBI Director Comey was reopening the Clinton email case because he was a Republican hack who worked for the Bush administration.

One of the things about Comey the news always reports is that, even though he was a Bush appointee, he investigated the Bush administration concerning the “warrant-less wire taps” which he opposed. So everyone considered him to be fair and non partisan. I never really looked beyond that and I also assumed he was a Republican appointed by Bush.

But Matt Schlapp claimed he was the person that talked to Comey before the Bush appointment and one of the things they discussed at length was Comey’s history as a Democrat. The Bush administration had no issues appointing Democrats, as long as they could be impartial.

That explains a lot.

Comey, a Bush appointee went against Bush on the wire taps like most Democrats and he swept Hillary’s email saga under the rug. Sounds just like a partisan Democrat to me.

Word leaking from the FBI is that the new emails the FBI has were discovered while investigating the sexting episodes of Huma Abedin’s hubby Anthony Weiner.
