Confirmation hearings for Senator Jeff Sessions (R-AL), controversial Attorney General nominee of President Elect Trump, begin early January. While Democrats circle around decades old and unproven accusations of racism as their primary concern, Obama’s own history suggests otherwise.
In 2008 Obama was elected by campaigning for the working man. He villainized Wall Street greed, and proposed radical changes.
Shortly into 2009, Obama quietly changed his tune.
Post election 2008 Obama quickly appointed multiple Wall Street executives to cabinet posts. Including some who continued to work for Citigroup and Obama simultaneously. Obama’s first major act as President was to bail out these Citigroup executives to the tune of $306 billion dollars.
Obama surrounded himself with Wall Street bankers and they all got richer at the expense of the taxpayer.
It is insider trading in it’s most exquisite form.
While controversial in some areas, Senator Sessions has a proven record against crime, illegal immigration, and being pro-small business. He is touted by colleagues as a man of integrity who strictly adheres to the law of the land.
The role of Attorney General is, in a nutshell, to uphold the law of the land. Sessions has a proven record in this regard and should be appointed without reserve. Obama has a proven record of saying one thing and doing another. Obama has enjoyed unprecedented shielding by the press, while Senator Sessions is vilified by decades old false accusations resurrected for Democratic politicizing.
A man with a penchant for strict adherence to the law will be confirmed this month as Attorney General. Meanwhile, Obama enacted policies that decimated the middle class while protecting big banks and profiting his colleagues. A man of the law meets a group of elite insider traders.
When these two worlds collide, what kinds of explosive details will be revealed?
It is impossible to speculate on the future between Senator Sessions as Attorney General and Wall Street bankers, but you can bet it will be a significant change from business as usual. This collision of ideals is the real reason the Democrats want to block Senator Sessions’ confirmation. The only question is, how long is the working class going to allow a few disconnected elitists define the future of America?
