TODAY is Election Day – Primary in both parties – G and LG!

Sandy says: Wagner for Governor and Davis for LG! And the BLOG endorsed McGuire in the 56th. (I endorsed Whitlock in the 72nd.)

Now here are my unscientific predictions (I did look at VPAP for some thoughts about the 56th and spoke with a source):

Dems – Perriello for Governor and Platt for LG

GOP: Stewart for Governor and Davis for LG

56th District: John McGuire, III

Whitlock wins his primary in the 72nd.

Turnout will be higher than usual – over 500,000 – and the Dems will have more votes than the GOP.

I think there will be three or four new indy candidates in uncontested districts who will turn in their petitions today. And Libertarian Cliff Hyra WILL be on the ballot (I know he already has 15,000 signatures but they were seeking more in certain areas).
