I know it’s going to bring down the wrath of the liberals upon me, but I’ve been studying David Hogg for a couple days, and have formed some opinions about him. Ben Shapiro agrees with my assessment of his words, style, and consistent stream of misinformation. Emma González stands in stark contrast. She is pretty, articulate, and doesn’t swear, or threaten. She is a rising star. Hogg is a one hit wonder.

I said on the air yesterday, and in my daily update on LiveFeed, that while I certainly support Mr Hogg’s right of freedom of speech and his opinion, when one steps into the public arena one gives up youth, and is open to praise and criticism.

David Hogg says what the mainstream media knows it can’t get by with

The Mainstream Media is parading Hogg around like a poster child because his irrational ramblings are things the cackle babble heads of CNN, MSNBC, and countless public news services want to say, but have better sense because the statements by Mr Hogg simply cannot survive a fact check! If you check Wikipedia, that’s right, he has a Wikipedia page, you’ll find a fairly homoginized version of David suitable for wrapping fish in!

We are all waiting for him to retreat behind the, “I might have misspoken, but I’m just a kid!” Openly declaring revolution upon the entire congress, senate, and the NRA including all of its members from teachers to old bikers is not a move that will endear David Hogg to the American public. All the cheering, and screaming at a rally does not change laws. Kids always scream at pep rallies.

Good Texas common sense

I still understand the kids’ feelings in Parkland after going through an active shooter scenario. As I have said many times, I saw Luby’s. That having been said, going through that situation does not make David Hogg an expert on gun control! After Luby’s, a lady who was there, lost both of her parents, left her gun in her car because the law forbade her to carry it in her purse was instrumental is passing Texas’ first concealed carry law, later refined by CJ Grisham along with a host of others, and tons of congressional support into a licensed open carry law.

That was good Texas common sense! You cannot reason with a tiger when your head is in its mouth! David Hogg wants a situation where no one has a gun. He’s already seen that situation. It was called Parkland. Oh, my bad. Two people had guns. Cruz and that cop hiding behind his car. Gotta stay accurate on these things.

The reason it took me days to formulate this op-ed was after watching the March For Our Lives, and being blown away by Emma González, I couldn’t remember a thing Hogg had to say! I had to search out and deliberately listen to his obscenity laced talks to see where he was coming from.

A dire warning

My original writings on the Parkland event, and the subsequent March on the nation’s cities were issued with a dire warning that we may see some change in gun ownership. Now, with conservative voices being heard I foresee David Hogg running out of gas. As he piles layer upon layer of inconsistent statements, the examination of his mindset and expertise will produce an image that even the liberal media will not be able to live with, and they can live with Nancy Pelosi! Something that has already happened on The View, of all places! They will probably start turning to Emma González who has the incredible presence of mind to THINK before she SPEAKS!
