From making a North Korean friend to Roseanne’s big end — and most points in between — it’s time for a look back at the week that was. Personal Liberty Digest^® presents: The WIRE!

I don’t want to say President Donald Trump is playing the North Koreans brilliantly, but a week after he called off the Singapore summit, they came to New York to meet with Secretary of State Mike Pompeo for another chance.

At this rate, they’re going to hold the summit in Mar-a-Lago.

The meal was steak, cheese and corn. Bet that blew the North Koreans away.

“You’re telling me there’s no human in this? Can I stay here?”

Say goodbye to the Roseanne reboot. ABC abruptly cancelled the hugely successful series after the erratic comedienne tweeted Obama consigliere Valerie Jarrett looks like the Muslim brotherhood and planet of the apes had a baby. I’m surprised she kept it together as long as she did.

If only we’d a clue she wasn’t rowing with both oars in the water. Some kind of a sign, anytime in the last few decades…

While Roseanne’s career flamed out, some other flameouts have been relit. Keith Olbermann has been rehired at ESPN despite repeatedly tantrum-ing himself into unemployment, including a rant in which he described Michelle Malkin as a “mashed-up bag of meat.”

He couldn’t even cut it at Al Gore TV, but I’m sure this time will be different.

The Democrat Channel exploited Roseanne’s meltdown by holding a “town hall” on racism. They even got a notorious racist to serve on the panel.

Out: Resist We Much!
In: Racist he much.

Before the Democrats could get too comfortable using Roseanne to smear Trump voters, celebrated leftist comedienne Samantha Bee called Ivanka Trump a “feckless c*nt.” Gotta love those liberals, always snatching defeat from the jaws of victory. Were it not for double standards, they wouldn’t have any at all.

If Samantha Bee is the hill they’re willing to die on, they probably didn’t have any standards to begin with.

While Barr and Bee were playing “who can be the bigger pile of garbage,” MSNBC junior varsity blowhole Joy Reid’s past came back to bite her. In addition to being homophobic, we also learned that Reid is also a racist and, according to her old blog, a 9-11 truther.

No worries, Joy. That might get you a promotion at MSNBC.

And because they don’t call it “Hollyweird” for nothing, actress Sally Field came out of left field to declare her support for Bee’s slur, tweeting “I like Samantha Bee a lot, but she is flat wrong to call Ivanka a c*nt. C*nts are powerful, beautiful, nurturing and honest” Keep in mind, when Sally was young, “c*nt” didn’t mean what it does today.

A lot of things have changed since the invention of the wheel.

For what it’s worth, I don’t think Bee should be fired. On the contrary, I hope that yapping poodle pulls a stunt like this every day from now to November 2020. And I hope Kathy Griffin leads the Dems’ defense of her each time.

Trump will be president until Griffin’s face falls off.

The upcoming HBO documentary The Final Year, a behind-the-scenes, all-access look at the Obama administration, includes this scene of Obama minion Ben Rhodes, barely holding back the tears when Trump beat Hillary.

That time the Democrats spent days trying to blame Trump for child abuse, then decided they were OK with it because it actually happened under Obama.

How dare anyone… um… not see how nice their accommodations are?

Me, when I hear David Hogg and the gun-grabbers are staging a “die-in” by laying on the floor at the Publix.

This is my compact. I drive an even bigger one to the gun shop on ammo day.

Democrats were outraged at the idea of Trump pardoning Dinesh D’Souza and Martha Stewart.

But only because they weren’t convicted for cool stuff like treason and murder.

A left-wing hate group called the Mad Dog Pac is on a new crusade — including billboards — urging people to assassinate Rep. Steve Scalise; apparently unconcerned that he has already survived a left-wing assassination attempt.

Hipster staple-seller J.Crew unveiled, and then quickly sold out of, this “feminist” t-shirt for little boys. “My left-wing mother turned me into a prop for her virtue-signaling, and all I got was this lousy t-shirt.”

And a ration of crap from the kids at school.

And a report in The Hill reveals that Google apparently ignored repeated warnings that pro-ISIS cells were using their Google Plus platform to post terrorist content.

Sad. Not even Google Plus checks in to Google Plus.
