The Rise Of The Conservative Voice

When I began writing for The Tea Party Tribune back in the Obama days it felt like I was on the walls of the Alamo. We were living through America’s decent into depravity, and it was hard to prove that there even WAS a Tea Party anymore. Still, I hammered out daily articles on multi subjects and frankly learned to write.

For the record, I have a high school education from Killeen, Texas, and that’s just about as ignorant as one can be and they still let you drive a car. But, one thing we did learn was literacy. Mrs. Millsap would read to us daily, and we were expected to check out books from the library, read them, and then tell about them in class.

I had a feel for my readers. Just like in Nashville where I had a feel for my audience. I had a unique way of looking at a subject, stepping back, and figuring out what was really going on. Then explaining what I’d discovered to my readers in language they could understand. Thanks to the editors of the Trib, I began to resemble some sort of writer, but I still felt like we were all fighting a losing battle. You will see this more clearly in tomorrow’ article, but the reason for this piece concerns something that happened yesterday.

While scanning the Trib I noticed an article from another writer. Then another, and another, and yet another, as the pages filled up with young conservative voices. Like Juan says, ”I ain’t even gonna lie to you.” I wiped a tear from my eye. It was as if they were saying, ”Rest brother, we got this.”

The Tea Party was not just Republicans, but Democrats, Independents, Christian, Jewish, conservatives, and yes, some liberals such as Brother Theo who helped me form the Butcher Shop. The Tea Party is the people who kept their heads low until the election of 2016 where they helped put a man in office disguised as a Republican.

Those of you who haven’t read the articles linked below, I suggest you do. They are the future. They are the re-birth of America. I share them to all my outlets knowing that the liberal left will attack me. God bless these guys and gals. Let’s make America great again.
