Boston Marathon Bombing: American Martial Law

Sometime after the Boston Marathon Bombing, a 20-block area of Watertown was scouted. Residents were told to stay in their homes. Residents were commanded not to answer their doors. Some were removed by gun-point. Citizens were trapped in their own homes. SWAT teams, in full tactical gear, searched each house in an impressive, yet disconcerting, display of American martial law. Disconcerting, since there were no warrants.

Black helicopters encircled Watertown looking for the suspects involved. Taxi and amtrax services were suspended. The airport operated under maximum security. Schools and businesses were closed. Roads were blocked off. Citizens were rendered immobile in a preview of what may be considered American martial law.

Several different agencies and departments were present, such as the FBI, the Department of Homeland Security, the ATF, the National Guard, the Boston and Watertown Police departments, the Massachusetts State Police. It seems as if, only in American martial law, that these organizations would have to unit. And they have. These departments and agencies operated as a para-military force with a single goal: to find the suspects.

Many theories exist toward whether or not the Boston Marathon Bombing itself was staged. If so, this would be the end goal: a military drill in real time. What better way to gauge how the American people would respond to terrorism on their soil. Of course, if this were a real-time drill, no heads up or warrant would be necessary. Instead, full force into the homes of American citizens would suffice. If this was a drill, does this indicate that martial law justice will be necessary in the future? Will it mean that America is preparing for an impending attack similar to the Boston Marathon Bombings, yet on a larger scale? Or could this be preparation for something more? Maybe towards shutting down political dissidence from war protest or riots? Or enacting order on a financial crash, or widespread pandemic? Or worst…

This event had the effect of conditioning Americans for police state justice. Suspects under American martial law will be hunted down by paramilitary forces. Breaking down people’s doors, suspects mysteriously killed without trial, and widespread anxiety. The Boston Marathon Bombing were the conditions for widespread fear and panic. Watertown is the sign that our government is preparing for martial law.
