It Has EVERYTHING to Do with Islam -We are Beginning to See the Results of the Silence of So-Called “Moderate” Muslims

Last Thursday morning as Colleen Hufford arose and readied for work, her thoughts very likely were on the day ahead, things needing to be done, realizing that tomorrow would be Friday and maybe even thinking up weekend plans with her grandchildren. Little did she know that she was en route to becoming another statistic, a sticking point in the manic affirmations of America’s leaders that her death, like so many before hers, “had nothing to do with Islam.”

But the truth is Ms Hufford’s grisly demise has everything to do with Islam, as does the death of the victims of Nidal Hasan in the Fort Hood rampage, the beheading of British Army drummer, Lee Rigby in May of last year and countless other victims of this sick death cult we know as Islam.

Let’s not mince words here, the constant attempt at redefining reality by our leaders’ insistence that the Muslim violence we are witnessing on a daily basis has nothing to do with the Muslim religion, is frankly offensive and in the end encourages more and ever grislier acts of terror.

In “problem solving 101” we learned that location and formulation of the problem was the first step in finding a solution. However, covering one’s eyes and pretending there is no problem will not make the problem disappear. In point of fact, it will only make the problem bigger and much harder to solve.

• For the past 35 years Islam has become ever more bellicose toward the West. It began when Ayatollah Khomeini’s minions attacked the American embassy in Tehran and took 52 American diplomats hostage, holding them for 444 days. This was an act of war that essentially went unanswered until the problem sorted itself out.

• This was followed by the 1983 suicide bombing of the Marine barracks in Beirut that took the lives of 299 American and French soldiers. The group responsible for the bombing was Islamic Jihad.

• A mere decade later the World Trade Centre was bombed by Islamic terrorists under the leadership of Omar Abdel Rahman, the blind sheikh, resulting in 6 deaths and over 1,000 injuries.

• In 1996 Islamic terrorists attacked the Khobar Towers, an American military complex in Saudi Arabia, resulting in 19 deaths.

• In 1998 two terrorist attacks against American Embassies in Africa killed 224 and injured over 4,500.

• In 2000 Islamic terrorists attacked the USS Cole off Yemen that killed 17 American sailors.

• Then, of course, the Sept 11, 2001 terrorist attacks against the World Trade Centre and the Pentagon resulted in more American casualties than the Pearl Harbor attack.

There is a definite a pattern here that’s difficult to ignore. Islam, the so-called “religion of Peace” isn’t a religion of peace at all. It’s a religion of violence and destruction. Sura 5 of the Koran states in part,
