Boko Haram and ISIS Plan to Smuggle Nuke into the U.S. with Aid from Mexican Drug Cartels

The latest fear mongering in the news is about Boko Haram as the new terrorist organization that we are to fear and spend money to eradicate. We are sending drones and troops to Cameroon to fight them now. You are going to be hearing a lot more about them in the near future.

But this is more troubling. It seems that ISIS could be working with Boko Haram along with Mexican drug cartels in order to smuggle a nuke into the U.S.

The US has recognised the increased threat its allies and interests in the region face following Boko Haram’s absorption into Islamic State. The jihadist group has shown itself resilient in the face of military operations by the combined armies of Cameroon, Chad, Niger and Nigeria.

General John Kelly states here that all a terrorist has to do is “ride the network” in order to smuggle nuclear material or even biological weapons through the Mexican Border:

JW’s report was based on intelligence from a Mexican Army field grade officer and a Mexican Federal Police inspector and was met with denials from both the U.S. and Mexican government as well as skepticism from the mainstream media in both countries. A separate JW story published last August was also widely questioned and refuted by authorities. It cited high-level U.S. federal lawenforcement, intelligence and other sources confirming that ISIS was planning to attack the United States with car bombs or other vehicle borne improvised explosive devices from Ciudad Juárez which sits across the U.S. border from El Paso. The attack was so imminent that the commanding general at Ft. Bliss, the U.S. Army post in El Paso, was briefed and the military compound increased security measures.

According to JW’s sources the Islamic terrorists have joined forces with the renowned Juárez drug cartel, which has long controlled the region. “Coyotes” are used to move ISIS operatives through the desert and across the border between Santa Teresa and Sunland Park, New Mexico as well as the porous border between Acala and Fort Hancock, Texas. Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) supervisors called a “special” meeting at the U.S. Consulate in Ciudad Juárez. A high-level intelligence source, who must remain anonymous for safety reasons, confirmed that the meeting was convened specifically to address a press strategy to deny Judicial Watch’s accurate reporting and identify who is providing information to JW. FBI supervisory personnel met with Mexican Army officers and Mexican Federal Police officials, according to JW’s intelligence source. The FBI liaison officers regularly assigned to Mexico were not present at the meeting and conspicuously absent were representatives from the Department of Homeland Security (DHS). It’s not clear why DHS did not participate.

According to this news article, the nuke would be purchased from corrupt Pakistani officials and transported via drug routes. And again confirmation that ISIS is working with Boko Haram:

ISIS considers transporting nuclear weapon to U.S. through Nigeria; says country’s Army “collapsed”

ISIS, the jihadist group in Syria, Iraq and Libya, has claimed it could purchase a nuclear device and transport same to the United States, through a network of countries including Nigeria, up to Mexico.

In its latest propaganda magazine, Dabiq, published two weeks ago, the group said the plan is workable the same way banned drugs are transported through West Africa to Western countries, saying it could even be easier with the presence of Boko Haram, the Nigeria-based group that recently pledged allegiance to ISIS.

Back in 2014, Congressman Duncan Hunter confirmed that 10 ISIS members were captured on the Mexican border in Texas but DHS denied these claims.  This information was obtained from the border patrol according to Congressman Hunter. See the interview with Hunter on Fox News at the link below.

A Republican congressman claimed Tuesday that “at least 10″ Islamic State “fighters” have been caught trying to cross the U.S.-Mexico border into Texas, though an administration official denied it.

Rep. Duncan Hunter, R-Calif., said he learned the information from the Border Patrol, warning that the alleged attempts to cross into the U.S. raise serious security concerns.

“ISIS is coming across the southern border,” he told Fox News. “They aren’t flying B1 bombers bombing American cities, but they are going to be bombing American cities coming across from Mexico.”

Hunter continued: “I know that at least 10 ISIS fighters have been caught coming across the Mexican border in Texas.”

He claimed Border Patrol “caught them,” but “you know there’s going to be dozens more that did not get caught by the Border Patrol.”

The Department of Homeland Security on Wednesday denied Hunter’s claim.

Why ISIS and Boko Haram would refrain from exploiting the open Mexican border with the U.S. is the burning question. The other one is, why do U.S. officials do whatever they can to make sure it remains open and a threat to U.S. citizens?
