No. In fact, there is overwhelming evidence to demonstrate quite clearly that the Antichrist is a man that has already lived – and died – over 2,000 years ago. His name was Nero Claudius Caesar Agustus Germanicus – or just Nero for short. He was simultaneously the most feared and the fiercest ruler of the Roman Empire
An ancient Hebrew text (that never made it into the Canon of the Bible for obvious reasons) known as the Ascension of Isaiah made direct reference to Nero as the Antichrist.
The Ascension of Isaiah (chapter 4 verse 2)
After it is consummated, Beliar the great ruler, the king of this world, will descend, who hath ruled it since it came into being; yea, he will descent from his firmament in the likeness of a man, a lawless king, the slayer of his mother: who himself (even) this king.
It refers to a demon (Beliar – also referred to as Belial or Ba’al in other texts) that takes the form of a lawless king who killed his mother. As we know from Roman history, Nero commits matricide in order to eliminate her as an indirect threat to his rule over Rome as emperor

The name “Nero” in Hebrew is spelled (and I’m using English pronunciation to substitute for Hebrew letters): Nun, Resh, Waw, Nun, Qof, Samekh, Resh.
The values of each of those letters is: Nun (50) + Resh (200) + Waw (6) + Nun (50) + Qof (100) + Samekh (60) + Resh (200) = 666
And Solomon collected 666 talents of gold.

Everything from the description of the Beast of Revelation 13 to the Great Whore that drank the blood of the Christian martyrs, to the number of the Anti-Christ are all references to the current situation as it was back then in Rome, not a future situation
Revelation’s job was to reassure those beleaguered saints that their suffering was only for a time as the empire responsible for their terror is to be smitten from the earth. Those Christians could have easily caved and disavowed their faith. They had to be reassured that doing so would be spiritually fatal and that their fellow martyrs would be redeemed.

Although the Book of Revelation contains much of what is still to come, certain fundamental teachings are found in it. One revelation that comes through very clearly is the definition of the True Worship, which is given in 7 places – the number of perfection. The True Worship rests on two fundamental principles, and the True Worshipper has to comply with these two requirements: To guard the commands of יהוה, and to believe in יהושע! We read this in Rev_12:17 and in Rev_14:12, and also in Rev_15:2-3 where the overcomers are described as those who sing the song of Mosheh (the Law) and the song of the Lamb (יהושע). Now for the other four witnesses: “Word,” “Command” and “Teaching” are very often used as parallel words, or synonyms, or interchangeably. See this for yourselves in Teh. 119:142, 151 & 160 / Psa_119:142, Psa_119:151, Psa_119:160. Compare also Teh. 119:105 / Psa_119:105 with Mish. 6:23 / Pro_6:23, and read Mish. 13:13 / Pro_13:13 as well. So let us look at these other four witnesses, in the light of what we have discussed. We find these other four witnesses in Rev_1:2, Rev_1:9, Rev_6:9 and Rev_20:4 – a total of seven perfect witnesses in the Book of Revelation!
