RightHaven looks to continue lawsuit against Brian D. Hill

Think you can make a TSA parody picture without getting sued or just simply collect images from the Denver Post or over 30 other medias under RightHavens control to expose a conspiracy or use in your political action event on your website or documentary then you can be sued by RightHaven, LLC because that is what is happened to me which this political site witch-hunt started on January 27, 2011. I think bloggers and webmasters around the world need to know about this lawsuit because the same has happened in Canada so it ain’t just American bloggers getting sued by this copyright troll. So there may a chance off-shore websites will also be targeted by RightHaven, LLC over any usage of their photos (even political ones) and clippings of their news articles. Even Google Group posters and forum posters are being sued as well.

Anyways onto my specific case since this article is about me being sued.

This was the photo (links to the page with the photo, cannot post here for legal reasons) that led to the lawsuit against Brian D. Hill the founder of USWGO Alternative News. Wow! Imagine their faces when the Jury has to see this picture as the reason I’m being sued for Copyright Infringement because I’m sure they will all laugh in the court room while stomping their feet.

About Janaury 30th 2011, a FederalJack report was typed up under the nickname Silence DoGood about my situation about being sued under RightHaven. Then word spread out on Facebook after it was posted onto WeAreChange then was posted on p2pnet a Canada based P2P news website about the lawsuit.

Also I have posted the lawsuit court document that’s been filed against me on scribd with certain details removed on the last page.

Then on February 03 2011 I and my own mother called into RightHaven together to tell them of my situation and to dismiss the case (to have one to speak with them and one as a witness to what they say). My situation is that I am poor, disabled, that my political blog is a hobby (I prefer the words news site since thats what it is), and that everything we said can be proven through medial and other records. Then I blurted out to them that I removed the image from my site and that I didn’t know the photo was from The Denver Post. Then he said he can’t decide the case for me and will mention this to who is managing the case (This is from what I can remember cause I was tired when they called me back to hear about my situation), so it sounds like the high ups or whoever is managing the case can decide whether my case is dismissed or not.

It’s been one day and no word about whether my case will be dismissed though because of my situation and the fact I can’t afford paying them a thousand dollar settlement out of court. Also the court still stands with the lawsuit as of yet to my knowledge when I checked the court dockets and filing sites so this sounds as though they may continue the lawsuit even though I run a educational truthful news site that makes no money, I’m disabled, Im renting a house, and I don’t have loads of money as the vultures of Righthaven were hoping I was wealthy.

So that is all I have to report for now until any new recent developments regarding this case then I will report on it.
