Cruel And Unusual Punishment: Police Execute Women By Electrocution, Without Electric Chair Video
According to Amnesty International, between 2001 and 2008, 351 people in the United States died after being shocked by police Tasers. Add the 181 deaths listed below in this article, and the total documented deaths by electrocution comes up to 532 since 2001.
Death can occur from any shock that carries enough current to stop the heart. Small currents (70–700 mA) usually trigger fibrillation in the heart which is reversible via defibrillator, but large currents (> 1 A) cause permanent damage via burns, and cellular damage.
Whether an electric current is fatal is also dependent on the path it takes through the body, which depends in turn on the points at which the current enters and leaves the body. The heart is the organ most vulnerable to damage from electricity, next is the brain.
Women are more susceptible to macroshock electrocution than men, but men are equally susceptible to microshock electrocution
Execution by electrocution, using an electric chair, has been employed as an official method of capital punishment in only two countries, the United States and the Philippines, and is now almost obsolete.
It was invented in the US in 1881 as a more humane alternative to hanging. It was promoted by inventor Thomas Edison, who built the first electric chair, and conducted many public tests on animals, using alternating current (AC) electricity.
The first person to be executed by electrocution was William Kemmler in New York’s Auburn prison on August 6, 1890.
One thousand volts was passed through his body for 17 seconds, however he was found to be still breathing and a second shock of 2000 volts was required to kill him.
But our Law Enforcement in America use tasers that send 50,000 VOLTS through your body. Is this cruel and unusual punishment? Or execution by Cop, without the chair ? Watch the video, you decide.
A video taken by the California Highway Patrol may be the first time a camera has captured all of the events leading up to a cardiac arrest following the use of a TASER® electronic control device.
According to the arrest report, the CHP officer hit the trigger on his TASER® X-26 TM three times, sending three separate 50,000 jolts into Jones’ chest, Killing her on her feet. Death by Cop, electrocution.
At last count, there are more than 514,000 Tasers among law enforcers and the military nationwide. Tasers are now deployed in law enforcement agencies in 29 of the 33 largest U.S. cities. Some states, such as New Jersey, are loosening up their rules for taser use.
Do you think this is an isolated incident? Think again, here is a list of Police Taser deaths just from 2009 to Sept 2012.

The work done over the past few years by Patti Gillman and Cameron Ward continue to be the inspiration. Gillman and Ward documented over 730 taser-related deaths in North America on their blog.
On the other hand, I think that something is wrong in America when the police electrocute folks on a WEEKLY basis with their taser arsenal … and the public is mute in its response.
This is a horrible misuse of a so-called *non-lethal* technology.

It’s not voltage that kills you, it’s the amperage used.
True but it only takes 100 milliamps to stop your heart. A USB port on a computer runs at 100 milliamps these tasers are dangerous and should be stoped but welcome to the police state.
And if it came down to it, I’d rather be tased than shot…..i
Thats the problem: We were told when tasers first appeared that they would be used ONLY to save lives ie. ONLY as an alternative to drawing a gun & shooting someone. NOT to intimidate, threaten, punish, or whatever! They are demeaning cattle prods & we were all lied to about their intended use. They cause serious damage to the body ask anyone who’s been seriously electrocuted about their cognitive thinking abilities & how they are affected by electrocution. It is barbaric & cops get away with murder literally because they are lazy, not trained or have psychopathic tendencies. IF there was at least accountability for their misuse it may be ok if it saves lives overall BUT that ain’t happening & even recently a 9 year old boy was tasered at his school by a cop for jokingly answering “no” when the cop asked him to wash his patrol car! It’s wrong!
So what are you saying…that this benign woman should have been shot for not complying
with illegal search and censure? Doesn’t that mean you are OK with living in a Police State where ANYTHING a “law enforcement” officer wishes to do is alright with you? And 3 TIMES while she is prostrate across her front seat? She PASSED the sobriety walk. Since when is that not enough? And did it not say this was a “routine traffic stop”? So in YOUR book, police are OK to routinely stop you and taser rather than shoot you? My GOD, man! Have you lost all sense of what America used to be? And you’re OK that we’ve lost that so long as you’re not shot at the whim of police, and merely taking your chances with 50,000 volts that can kill you just as dead?
The body is electric and thetaser disrupts the synapses which conduct the electric current which runs thru the body. Furthermore, the police are using this weapon, not knowing nor caring 9more than likely for their own pleasure) whether or not people have cetain medical considtions which put them at risk for death from the taser. the weapon should be banned or voltage down graded—-
What a bunch of BS sue this punk cop and the chip for every dime they have, I am a master electrican with 22 plus years in the feild and I don’t care if its AC or DC you hit the heart area with 50,000 volts SOMETHING is going to happen and its not going to be a good thing for sure.
This is exactly what the the illuminstti did to me. 76,280 shocks during the past year. They love to shock people just before they rape them.
