Sadly you are correct, this is one of the reason’s I left the city. I want no part of it, and out in the county police are kept in short supply which surprisingly makes them much more wary of their actions due to the lack of other officers to back up their stories and act as witness’s to their criminal behavior. Leading me to believe we could clean up most police departments by downsizing their staff by half. And insisting every second of their daily work be recorded both visually and audibly. Courts allow them to get away with murder and have for a long time and now many police departments are so corrupt they just do whatever they want, so they’ve filled the void left by the mob.
