Be Careful – a Judge may shoot you!

How clever of Judge Harsha to bypass our state laws. If judge Harsha is so afraid of going into a courtroom without a gun, maybe he should stay home and hide under his bed. “It opened our eyes” said Harsha. Opened his eyes to what?– Breaking our state law of concealed weapons. Harsha is a judge, not a lawmaker. Judges are to abide by the laws set forth- not make them. That is why this country has different branches of government. Is judge Harsha afraid he can’t pass the required state law concealed weapons course? Where is it written judges are above the law?
So, Harsha was intimidated with a man who couldn’t afford an attorney. Well, that right there could be cause for someone to be afraid. Right? The man seemed, that’s seemed, doesn’t mean sure – means Harsha wasn’t sure but the man- seemed emotional, seemed aggressive, seemed to be on the verge of hysteria and perhaps, again, Harsha is not sure, but perhaps, “a little unstable”. I personally wasn’t there – I personally don’t know this seemed, perhaps man but one must consider what was the circumstances of this man’s plight. Scared, alone, no lawyer, had to face this alleged cocky, arrogant judge who believes himself above the law. Was this man provoked because he showed up without a lawyer? Provocation is often done to intimidate those who have to appear in court. Courts, like hospitals, can be intimidating for some. Oh, yes, this man was “disheveled”, Harsha has gone on record as stating he was a “problem solver” and he also went on record as he is now to the point of second guessing himself.
Think about this. You have a judge second guessing himself which tells you right there he should not be on the bench making decisions concerning people’s lives.
 So, we have judge Harsha who second guesses himself – his words – and considers himself a “problem solver” – what would Harsha do if he decides someone is a problem and makes a second guess to shoot someone? What would have been the outcome if this man got really upset and gun toting judge Harsha took matters into his own hands?
 By the way, what court doesn’t have a bailiff? Oh, yes, Harsha admits that the judges do have an armed bailiff and the judges have a certified police officer who travels with them. Poor judge Harsha- not only is he protected by an armed bailiff but he has his own armed police officer who travels with him and yet he needs a gun WITHOUT a permit. He has more coverage than the Pope.
Judges, of course can obtain concealed carry permits. Is there a reason why judge William H Harsha avoids this Ohio law? He stated he was a competitive shooter – so, what’s the holdup judge for not getting a permit? Does a background check scare him off? Remember, judges are to follow the laws – not make them. When a judge has proven unfit to judge by the laws set forth, ignores the truth, facts, evidence, proof of cases – how can he be trusted with a gun?
If a poor man shows up for court without a lawyer, “seems emotional” – “seems aggressive” – and “perhaps a little unstable” – the courtroom has an armed bailiff and police about and this scares Harsha? Judge Harsha – it’s time you retire. I am all for the second amendment. I believe in self protection – the right to bear arms but not in your case. You are not Judge Roy Bean and it’s too bad you are not as knowledgeable as he was. Was he really more afraid of this man or more afraid he doesn’t know the law? But, someone could say -  A gun toting judge is not as dangerous as a judge who doesn’t know the laws.
