Sloanes Motel, Burlington, Colorado
After driving for much longer than we intended we arrived at Sloanes Motel in Burlington, Colorado.
Check-in was prompt and friendly.
Our room was on the ground floor in a row with several other rooms, in the typical American motel style.
We parked our camper-van right outside the door to our room, so we didn’t have far to carry our luggage.
Our room at Sloanes Motel in Burlington, Colorado was surprisingly big, from the outside it appeared much smaller than it was.
There were two queen-size beds, a desk and office style chair, a drawer unit, a very large flatscreen TV, a fridge, and a microwave.
The TV had lots of channels, including FOX, SyFy, MTV, HBO etc.
There was a wall mounted shelf, underneath which was a clothes rail and a luggage rack.
The air-conditioning unit worked well. We set it to full blast on its hottest temperature, the room warmed up nicely.
Breakfast was included in our room rate, it was a help yourself meal setup in the motels reception. We didn’t fancy breakfast so I don’t know what it was.
Free WiFi was available in our room.
We were hungry when we arrived at this motel, so we asked the guy who checked us in where we could eat locally, he, and a guest who was in the reception at the time, suggested a bar/restaurant just up the road.
We enjoyed a very good steak and as we were leaving in came the guy from the motel and a few other guys.
We slept well at Sloanes Motel in Burlington, Colorado, it’s a decent place to stay in a good location.
