The Facts – Dubai the capital of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) is known for the fast rate of development from the year 2000 and onwards with income within the state rapidly increasing, Dubai is home to the worlds first man made island which they called ‘the Palm Islands’. With such high temperatures, it has attracted a wide range of tourists to the area so much that the population of Dubai consists of 80% that are foreign and from 1995 the population has almost doubled!

The First Man Made Island – ‘the Palm Islands’ are Dubai’s one of many amazing features, the island homes many millionaires like David Beckham that owns a plot of the palm islands and it also has luxury hotels, it should definitely be on your top 10 places to visit. ‘the Palm Islands’ can be seen from satellite which looks absolutely amazing. Boat trips are available, so you can take a cruise around the curve of the Palm Jumeirah island and admire the visionary developments taking place there – the views are truly speechless.

7 Star Hotel – Burj Al Arab officially known to be the best hotel in the world, this hotel has the best facilities one person could even think of, not forgetting the photogenic aspects the hotel has – no wonder it attracts so much attention. The structural design of the building is purposely built to look a billowing sail what locals call a ‘dhow’, it really is beautiful and such an iconic feature of Dubai. Heights consist of 321 meters high so you can just imagine the lovely landscapes that can be seen from your hotel room window while being located on its own private island.

The hotel becomes and looks like a different place at two completely different times in a day, that is true beauty of the the world’s second highest hotel known in 2012.

The Dubai Mall – Shopaholic? You will never get bored, the Dubai Mall is the largest in the world consisting of over 1200 shops! Any shop you can think of and there is a good possibility that the Dubai Mall will have it somewhere in its 50 football pitches of space. It’s that big it has its own aquarium, called the ‘Dubai Aquarium and Discovery Centre’, visitors can to walk through acrylic panel tube to see over 33,000 marine animals that they have there. If that hasn’t managed to grab you maybe the Olympic sized ice rink will. The Dubai Ice Rink is a top class facility, one for all the family to enjoy. It can hold around 2,000 guests at one time, and the uses of the ice rink can range from learning to ice skate, to even playing in an ice hokey match.
