Secret Sydney Bars

Tatlers – Good luck getting into this place with its big gates! This is a private party only establishment and is ultra exclusive for a reason. The catch? You can only go if you are invited to a party and you can only hold a party if you have been checked out in person! That should keep the riff raff out! It would be a great place to throw a birthday party although it seems like it would be next to impossible to gain an introduction. In fact, the club runs its business on being exclusive and so they can charge a lot more to keep out all the common people.

Level 6 – Run by the same group that run the gaudy Ivy Hotel in Kings Cross, this is located on George St (330) but unless you are a high roller then you probably won’t get in. Membership per year runs at about $5,000! So if you have some spare cash lying around and plan on returning to Sydney regularly then this might be worth your while. Not for those on a budget!

White Revolver – Another bar that is next to impossible to get into unless you know someone or know someone that knows someone! Located through a secret door (yes, a secret door) in a bar called Thru the Grapevine, White Revolver is popular among the celebrity set in Sydney. Perhaps enjoy a wine in the adjacent bar and you can at least watch who comes in and out. This is possibly one of the coolest night clubs in Australia and is underground in every sense of the word.

De Nom – Definitely for those with absolutely no budget in mind and money to burn with an astronomical yearly fee of $10,000! This is a place for the wealthy to show off just how much they have around others that have a lot of money as well. This is just about as exclusive as it gets but you won’t be sneaking into this bar!
