MOTD: Green + Red = Christmas!?

What?! KathMadula is doing an MOTD?! Hahaha! :p

MOTD is Make up Of The Day, if I’m assuming it right. Hahaha! You might be familiar with these jargon if you happen to read make up blogs and other beauty blogs out there. Since I’m not really inclined to review make up and beauty items, I do like to share with you honest opinions based on what reaction that product has to me. So it might be helpful for some but not for all.

Anyway, I always adore beauty blogs from seasoned bloggers such as AskMeWhats, Shen’s Addiction, The Beauty Junkee, Lush Angel, Beautynomics, Make Up Love, Mizz Makeup, Chronicles of Vanity, Phoebe,  Animetric and IamBrigitte. I also wonder how they do a photo of themselves and manage to do a tutorial on how to achieve a certain look.

Recently, IamBrigitte sponsored a contest. I was hesitant at first but heck, will just try and see the results. I really want to win these!!

Though I love neutral colors, I always like colorful stuff. It’s nice to play around with colors from time to time, right?

Bare with me as I really don’t know how to act/pose infront of the camera. I always wanted to be in it but really struggling when I’m already at it.

Without further adieu, here’s what I came up to: A green eye makeup with a bright red lipstick. ^____^

Front shot, apology for my hair.. (mukha na naman akong lalaki.. wahehe!)

I used the following to achieve this look: (feel na feel ko parang beauty blogger lang ang outline! hahaha!)

Face:
Estee Lauder Individualist
Cover Girl Finishing Powder

Eyes:
Nyx Eyeshadow Base
Nyx Secret World Palette
VMV Ooh-la-Lash Mascara
Black Liquid Eyeliner (I’m not sure what brand, just bought it in Eastwood Tiangge because of its cute purple design :p)
False Eyelashes (same case with the eyeliner)

Cheeks:
Human Heart Nature blush

Brows:
In2it Brow Powder

Lips:
Nyx Fire lipstick

I know I do need a lot of improvement, I’m not quite sure if I did the application of the liquid eyeliner correctly. I also want to do the full brow technique that I always see though my brows are pretty much fine without it. (Arte lang talaga minsan!)

Now here’s a wacky pose, gusto ko gayahin sana si Anne Curtis, kaya lang FAIL. hahahah!
