Safety signs come in a wide range of shapes and sizes and can be found across the globe. While some simply educate and inform, others are a little more amusing – so let’s take a look at ten of the funniest:

Tourists are usually encouraged to stay with their guides – but not in Hungary. Either the true meaning of this sign has been lost in translation, or there’s something weird going on! You decide.

Mongolia

You can park anywhere in the desert right? Well it seems that might not be the case in Mongolia. This sign has clearly been put up for a reason, but it does look rather odd considering the large amount of space around it.

South Africa

Warning! Don’t let your wheelchair roll down the hill as a hungry crocodile will be waiting for you. Located in The Greater St. Lucia Wetlands Park, South African, this safety sign is certainly easy to understand – if not a little graphic.

If you were planning on touching this sign, please beware – it has sharp edges. Oh and by the way, the bridge is out ahead! Why the most important message is in small print, we’ll never know.

Grrrr, bark, woof…. Oh and stop doing your business in the most inconvenient of places – good dog. This sign is pure genius.
