Travel Highlights: Marienplatz in Munich, Germany

Octoberfest is a 16-day festival from late September to early October annually in Munich, Germany. It is the world’s largest fair and celebrated by people in the worldwide. Many people presume that Octoberfest celebration is mainly about drinking beers and dancing along to the folk music. However, the festival doesn’t restrict to the beer drinking only. Most of the locals celebrate Octoberfest festival in their traditional costumes at the world’s biggest funfair which I will share some of these photographs in my next post.

Munich is the capital and largest city of Bavaria in Germany. The public transportation especially the subway train is very reliable when you stay in the city center of Munich. It is very convenient to travel to Marienplatz by the subway train. Marienplatz is a famous central square in the city center of Munich, Germany. It’s also safe to roam in the city center till late at night which I have similar feeling when I travel in Switzerland.
