Paso Robles is a city in the state of California in USA. It is located in the San Luis Obispo County and is the fastest economically developing community in the area. It is also growing very fast in demographic aspect. Today it population is almost thirty thousand people.

The first mineral baths in the area of the city was constructed from the priests of the Franciscan mission of San Miguel. Most of the residents of the city moved in the same period and started to work on their farms. They were known as the pioneer founders and are the first people to start the incorporation of the area. The hotel of El Paso de Robles appeared in 1864 and many more followed in the next years coming.

         The other water activities, which will positively influence the health of the visitors, are the mud baths and the sulphur spring built back in 1888. At the beginning the spring was only for the guests of the belonging hotel. After several years of reconstruction the place became accessible for the public and today it is even hosting the municipal pool.

         The vineyards and the wine industry in the area crossed the borders of the city and gain fame when famous Polish statesman and pianist bought large territory of the place. The wine which he was making in his property became very much preferred and won many awards.

         For the free time of the tourists the area is offering good options for recreational activities, such as cycling, tennis and golfing. Swimming is one of the good choices as well. The city of Paso Robles hosted stages of several tours like the California Tour in 2010 and 2011.

         Lake Nacimiento is one great place for water activities in the area. Waterskiing and jetskiing are some of the most preferred things to do in it.

         There are many festivals held in the city, which are very attractive and amusing for the visitors of Paso Robles. The Zinfandel Festival is one of them and it is taking place in March. This festival is focused on the wine production, as one can guess. There are many special events during it like dinners and VIP tours.
