Royal Caribbean, one of the world’s largest cruise providers are expanding. The expansion has triggered a considerable recruitment drive within the beautiful European country of Portugal.

Royal Caribbean regularly seek new recruits to commit to expand their ever growing fleet of crew members to deliver first class service on-board their large fleet of ships. Predominantly the corporation are seeking bar persons and waiting staff. The company are offering a generous salary, food and accommodation is listed as being all inclusive within the contract.

Due to the nature of the positions staff are commonly confronted with various passengers from all over the world therefore; it is vital that the staff possess an excellent understanding of a variety of languages. In particular, Royal Caribbean are seeking new recruits who are fluent in English, although this does not necessarily need to be their first language.

Ideally potential candidates will have at least two to three years’ experience working within a similar industry of luxury service providers. Industries such as catering (restaurants) and bar service are typically highly desirable.

To be considered for interview, applicants are obligated to have industry specific knowledge, for example, applicants must have an excellent understanding of cocktails when applying for the bar staff position.

Contracts with the company, normally, continue for at least six months and expenditure is partly compensated on completion of a contract the contract.
