Inaugural Bradley Beach Boardwalk BBQ – Aug 24^th

Bradley Beach Boardwalk BBQ – Aug 24th, hosted by the Bradley Beach Chamber of Commerce promises to provide the area’s best barbecue and festival snacks, a mix of Live Music, Entertainment, Games and Rides for the Entire Family here on the Jersey Shore! The BBQ will be on the oceanfront promenade, centered around the 5^th Ave gazebo.  The hours are Saturday, Aug 24th from 11am-8pm with Sunday the 25^th as a rain date.

The Bradley Beach Chamber of Commerce and local event producers, The Passion Group, have teamed up for what is expected to be one of the largest community events of the season. Through many brainstorming sessions, the Bradley Beach BBQ was born.  “Barbeques bring friends and families together all summer long, and that is exactly what we plan to do here”, said Brenda Connolly, President of the Bradley Beach Chamber of Commerce.

WHAT TO EXPECT

The Best Food on The Jersey Shore– Although the food vendor line-up hasn’t been finalized, we are excited to have Jersey Shore BBQ (Belmar, NJ) anchoring the event. They have been a staple at the annual Lobsterfest, recently serving up Lobster Macaroni & Cheese over Smoked Hot Dogs. “We are very excited to see what specialty items they create for the Boardwalk BBQ,” said Tiffany Tarzian, who is handling the entire vendor line-up.

Mr. Q’s Filipino Bar-b-cue will be there with the best tasting meat-on-a-sticks ever, according to their website. Confident you will love their flavors, they will also have their special sauces and marinades available to purchase. The BBQ Pit will roasting an entire pig, complete with all your favorite side dishes. Tigers Tale, Bacon on wheels and the Chop shop are a few of the additional restaurants that will be showing off their BBQ skills! You will have the opportunity to have your voice heard, as you vote for the “People’s Choice Award” for best barbeque item at the festival, the winner will receive a plaque and bragging rights until next year!

Great Music – DJ Funsize will be back to the boardwalk after his recent appearance at the Lobsterfest; he has a huge variety of music and is always ready to play your favorites and suggestions. Also in the lineup is Matt Wade, who won the award for Top Keyboard Player in 2011 and 2012 at the Asbury Music Awards and was nominated for the 2013 Jersey Acoustic Music Awards Top Male Performer. Stay tuned for additional performers, as they are finalized.

Fun For Everyone – As many of you might have noticed, the Chamber worked with a new vendor at the Lobsterfest for the Children’s entertainment area, and it was a huge hit! We are excited to continue that partnership and offer another great selection of inflatables and rides and a reasonable family price for the Boardwalk BBQ. There will also be face painters, sand art and henna tattoos available at the event. There will also be countless crafters, artists and specialty vendors to keep you busy while enjoying the day with your family at the Bradley Beach Boardwalk BBQ – Aug 24^th,
