2013 Events in Downtown Red Bank

Red Bank Farmers Market Mid May – Mid-November

Every Sunday from May 6 through mid – November, in the Galleria parking lot, Bridge Avenue & West Front Street, 9:00am – 2:00pm. Organized and managed by The Galleria Red Bank.

Red Bank Food & Wine Walk

09.15.13 | 2:00 – 6:00 PM
10.20.13 | 2:00 – 6:00 PM
On the third Sunday of the month from June-October, sample wine and/or food from restaurants and food establishments throughout the entire Red Bank Business District. Purchase a wristband for $35/person and spend the afternoon strolling through the beautiful riverfront town while sampling food and wine from Red Bank’s fine food establishments. A Limited number of tickets will be sold for each event.

StreetLife June through August

The sidewalks of Red Bank will be alive with music and entertainment on Saturday nights throughout the summer as Red Bank RiverCenter presents, ‘StreetLife.’ Residents, visitors, and businesses alike look forward to the free summer performances of the StreetLife program; now in its 13th year.On any given Saturday night from June 1 to August 31, from 6-9 p.m. StreetLife performances will take place in front of various businesses from Broad Street to Bridge Avenue and throughout the entire Red Bank business district. Come stroll through town, eat at your favorite restaurant, shop your favorite stores and enjoy the music!NEW ADDITION THIS YEAR! Art on the Streets! Fitness In The Park

6:30 – 7:30pm
Riverside Gardens Park The Community YMCA presents Fitness In the Park every Wednesday in July and August. Enjoy the beautiful views of the Navesink River while getting in your exercise. The schedule for this year is:August 28 – ZumbaPlease bring a towel and mat for Pilates and Yoga and don’t forget the water!

Dog Days

Red Bank Dog Days will be on the last Tuesday of each month, July, August, September and October from 6-9pm. The October event will be a special Halloween celebration with your best friend!Monmouth Street will be closed from Broad to Drummond and filled with tables for take-out dining, dog friendly open stores and an assortment of pet related vendors. Vendors will include a pet sitter, dog photographer, grooming options, boarding facilities, shelters, pet supplies, doggie wear, treats, food and some great pet charities.Red Bank Veterinary Hospital will also be on hand with water stations, cleanup areas, dog first aid, nutritionists and behaviorists.Red Bank is dog friendly! Businesses on Monmouth and throughout town will have a large pawprint decal in their window to welcome you and your dog in.Hosted by the Borough of Red Bank with the support and assistance of Red Bank RiverCenter and The Red Bank Veterinary Hospital.*Please leash all dogs, no retractable type. Red Bank Street Fair – September 8th

Juried crafters, food, fun, artwork, craft products and services for sale and all to benefit the Red Bank Volunteer Fire Department – Red Bank Business District – Free Parking in Municipal lots and on-street parking. 11 am – 5 pm

Red Bank Guinness Oyster Festival September 22 (Rain Date September 29) 12-7

Red Bank RiverCenter is proud to announce the 4th Annual Guinness Oyster Festival! This Street Festival is a great time for one and all and is fashioned after the 58 year old Galway Oyster Festival which celebrates the opening of the Oyster season.The event is scheduled for September 22nd, 12-7 PM (rain date, September 29th) in Downtown Red Bank in the White Street Parking Lot, with entry from White Street or Monmouth Street. It will be a huge food and music festival which will showcase Red Bank’s excellent restaurants as well as entertain thousands with great, live music! It will also be a family friendly event with lots of activities for the kids.Talented musicians will be performing on two separate stages with a mix of Irish music, blues and rock and roll.The event will also be a culinary feast! There will be tons of Guinness and fresh oysters plus Red Bank’s favorite restaurants will be serving a variety of specialty menu items. Wine and lighter beers will also be available for purchase.

Town Lighting & Santa Express Santa Express Train from Little Silver to Red Bank (6:25pm), Parade from Red Bank Train Station down Monmouth Street to Holiday Express concert on Broad Street for annual Town Lighting, 7:00pm.

We Double Dog Dare You Scavenger Hunt November 29 – December 22

Hunt through participating stores to find a popular Christmas movie character in the Red Bank Business District.

Holiday Horse & Carriage Rides November 30 – December 21

Classic Horse & Carriage rides through the business district. Saturdays, 1:00pm – 5:00pm. Two locations are 26 Broad Street (Murphy Style Grill) and Bridge Avenue (across from The Galleria)

Holiday Harmonies November 29 – December 21

Musical entertainment on Saturdays, from 12:00pm – 3:00pm, in the Red Bank Business District.
